I have been watching most of Japan's competitions and it really shows how the opponents height can be a real challenge to them but they make up for it through their versatility and tactics. Great job to both teams!
Me too! Its so hard for me to branch out to liking other teams when Japan just keeps winning my heart with their underdog determination, artful technical skills and strategy. Yamamoto is an underrated star
I love how at 23:04 that they're still cheering for Japan and the crowd immediately gets quiet after realizing that the guy is serving already. This really shows how amazing Japan supports their team
This game shows that height can be both advantageous and powerful, but it does have its downsides as it can be slower thus Japan makes up for it in receives and endurance. Literally two opposite concepts clashing against each other. Even though Japan lost greatly, I thought it was an amazing effort :)

japan was LOCKED IN 3rd set!! those plays and hustles near the end (from both teams) were incredible to watch! 1:36:05 the yamamoto chants so true 1:38:36 those poland saves were crazy fr 1:39:28 BLOCKERS FTWWWW onodera so cute tho 😭 4th set but 2:01:43 onodera was on fire in this set! too bad they were just outmatched that day..
