I'm a very liberal person but I think that Candace is amazing. Like the way she is so respectful to other side of opinions I admire her

I must say that she does represent her conservative ideals without being condescending. Something many people needs to learn, I think, instead of judgment and pointing the finger to others on what's right and wrong.

I just watched it. And it was indeed a bit cringeworthy to watch. But I do think that she's slightly more accepting than her brother is.

+likeliterally - I completely agree with you. I've followed her since I was younger and I'm now in my 40's. I love her and she is exactly how you described, a breath of fresh air. She's so classy and very down to earth. Even if she says something I don't quite agree with, I listen with an open mind and heart because there is nothing vicious about it or her tone. You know what I mean?! She is very gracious and humble. I've never been a big fan of the few and can mention a long list of hosts I didn't/don't care for but once in a while I will watch because of Candace. The only other one I like is Whoopi but for a whole other reason.

You are right Candace is class and a breath of fresh air in a stagnant group. Candace should have her own talk show and never have the view hags on. Raised Catholic but have been around, her Christian attitude is so refreshing, can't hollyweird see that, time for all to stand up to this type show, thank God I don't watch. When you allow people of color to think they are better, you make a huge mistake.
Candace is so great & I am extremely glad she is on The View. If she wasn't on the show, I don't think I could stand to hear the one sided view all the time.

I have to admit I did not like Candace at 1st because I associated her with her brother and I cringe watching her church testimony when she was younger. But I think she is a great example of what a Christian should be. She doesn't judge and handles herself with grace when others mock and judge her.
I completely disagree with a lot of what she says, but at least she expresses her opinions without being nasty. That is a skill BOTH conservatives and liberals need to master!

There are a number of people who call themselves Christians who aren't respectful of other's beliefs and opinions, that condemn others and can be very narrow minded. Candace Cameron-Bure is not one of them. She is fair, she's respectful and not at all "holier than thou". I agree with her about the direction of the conversations on the view are taking-they're divisive and are not at all the kind of conversation that inspires people to think, "I don't agree with you but I love you anyway." Surely there's more to talk about than how much liberals hate Donald Trump.
Her opinions were a TOTAL waste of time listening to! I could have done a better job than her. I chose intelligent responses when it comes to topics ESPECIALLY on the view. I could totally side with Joy on political discussions. It makes my day when I hear how logical her questions are to the other guest hosts.
I agree with nothing she says on the View. She does seem like a lovely warm human being and I'm glad she's on the show.

I won't miss her, though I don't dislike her, but really because I don't agree with her views. Yet, the table does need someone like her. I rarely agreed with Hasselback but she was a good fit. I am upset that, off topic btw, Candace and Raven got a proper exit unlike Michelle Collins. I loved Michelle and wish we would've gotten an awesome last episode. But, hey, what can ya do, the show must go on :)

Well Candace that's what happens when you're a public person who gives their opinion, you get critical backlash. You cannot control the nature of the backlash. If people hate you for your opinions there's nothing you can do.

Candace, with out people on both sides of the isle voicing their opinions there is no discussion. Without discussion and research how do you come to a designation or any opinion? Now I watch the view form time to time and I've seen you on the show. I think that all voices are important including yours. Right, left and moderate it doesn't madder, all of our voices should be heard. The thing that I find most distressing is that so many voices in our country today are being silenced. And yes social media is a big part of that, as does our politics. It is people like you, with a higher profile then the rest of us that have the responsibility to speak. I am a christian and moderate. I feel because I am a moderate I have no voice, anymore. Although I may not see eye to eye with you on every subject doesn't mean that your opinion isn't important. Nor does it mean that I shouldn't give you the respect of listening to you, as I would hope you would do for me. I believe it is time for everyone to stop talking and start listening.

Rebeccah H I'm actually not too close minded, but you have to understand that I've had all too many experiences of people starting off a dialogue with "just because someone doesn't agree with your lifestyle".... and see where is going. Ending a statement with "educate yourself" makes the assumption that I'm not educated, which is really offensive because you really don't know me or have had any interactions with me and I'm not sure what type of response you expected that to illicit. You have to admit, all of those things that I mentioned are typical talking points of conservative, religious groups and political pundits, which can in fact promote hated of other people based on their sexual preferences. I have many close christian friends and family members that are very close with me - the difference is they don't go on tv staying their opinions on someone else's lifestyle or try to change laws that discriminate against a group of people. They live and let live.

Maybe she should try and use compassion, empathy and common sense when judging others. She should just do the right thing. It’s not that difficult. If you can’t be a decent human being without looking to the Bible for your answers something is wrong with you. The lessons and stories of the Bible are more akin to evil than moral.

I definitely don’t hate her, but I definitely disagree with her views on us in the LGBTQ Community, and as a Progressive Christian, it’s baffling to me that so many Conservative Christians are still so hateful and bigoted and discriminatory towards us. She says she doesn’t hate us, but yet she doesn’t support us and she’s not ok with LGBTQ Characters on the Hallmark Channel or the new Bigoted GAC Channel. So one can say they don’t hate Gay/Trans/Queer, etc people all the F they want as she has, but without actions, those words mean absolutely nothing. More so it definitely comes across as hate but not showing actions of love towards us. So until she shows us love which I’ve seen none from her yet, I’m Not fond of her. Nor will I watch any movies/tv shows that she’s in.

You can listen to and disagree with people and still show them kindness and respect... that's what Candace does. The View was so much better when Meredith was on it. It wasn't all the political bickering it's been for years, it was actually a fun talkshow to watch. I quit watching it way back, just see clips on yt here and there, and usually that's way more than enough.
As a Republican, I was embarrassed to have Cameron representing my party. She's not a smart woman. She needs to remain in the acting business.

Thank you! Totally agree. She simply was NOT good on that show, that format and had zero chemistry with the cast. Wouldnt say she's 'dumb' but added absolutely nothing. Just sat there like a lump/deer in the headlights, blatantly uncomfortable and stiff and say some seriously 'out there' right wing-ish nutty things.Not even 'conservative' or 'Republican' just seriously odd, bland and useless to the show! They have a 'conservative' on there now who is 10x better than Candace. That woman at least has a personality and very likable and smart! Even Hassleback (like or dislike her) at least had chemistry w/ the cast and made for great TV sometimes!
