Here is a quick check of my girlfriend's new toy.
Despite the fact that it's the most basic Ibanez electric axe around, it is a pretty functional guitar with great cost to value ratio. The neck profile is very comfortable and the fretwork is pretty good and smooth to this price range. I spanked its ass quite hard while recording the Hypaball playthrough video and it stayed in tune remarkably well:

It is an awesome beginner's guitar I think.
It is also a strong magnet to dust and stuff. It collected a big amount of that during a really short period of time out of the box, just in a couple of hours or so.
I happened to fuck up the production date at the top of the video but what the hell. This guitar was most definitely manufactured in February 2017 and not in 2016 as it is displayed on the header.

How is the fretboard? Dead spot? Burrs or sharp edges? Use your words. The amp sounds nice. Play clean to show the sound of the guitar!

It felt Squier-y just thinner. No sharp edges. Nice low action. For the playability, beginners' dream axe, I guess. Thanks for the note about the tone. It is coming from an AMT P1 amp sim pedal directly into the audio interface. The buzzsaw sound around 1:40 was a Blackstar practice combo. Quite a difference, the AMT stealing the show by miles. The Blackstar is a nice unit for a practice combo anyway.
I always play clean. I never use cheat codes and don't ram fellow racers.
