I'm sure both Eva collabs were negotiated and funded at the same time, so they're kinda stuck. They wouldn't be able to back out due to contract and wasted resources.
@GuardianEPlays yeah that's understandable. I just wished they had more freedom skin wise, like with the 60 dollar skins , but so far, it looks better than the first run

I have uncertain feeling about this update, the ssr rapi is surely hype but her role and skill have something I don't like, first thing is we already have great burst3 fire MG type (modernia) why rapi have to be in exactly same loadout while we still lack of many good other type/element unit, and also the over-spec thing just to make her 1% rate up and 0.5% standard like pilgrim seem don't make sense (except for making money) and while they introducing new feature, they still not show us any of problem fix and how quality of life improved other than just text make me worry that is it will actually improve by much. Lately I feel like they put so many effort in the wrong place sometime.
It's true that the proof is in the execution - we'll see how the quality of life changes actually get implemented in the coming months. The fact that they outlined these things acknowledges the feedback from the community, so I'm hopeful. As for Over-Spec, Rapi was never going to be a regular unit. I assumed she would be limited, but this approach is better. She was always going to be rare, like all New Years units. Over-Spec opens the door to new units that are not Pilgrims still having the Pilgrim treatment. We get the Pilgrim Wishlist now, which is huge. I agree that there could be more weapon diversity, but remember that MGs don't all behave the same, and Rapi's vs. Modernia's burst is quite unique. They still have different utility, even with the same weapon type.
So many options in the surveys, yet they gave us 2 eva collab in 6 months, honestly an L for me. Rapi is great, they improved her design a bit and i think it's perfect for her role in Counters. RIP for everyone who pray for Elysion tower savior though 😂. Helm treasure is the most important news for me in this stream, thanks SU.

Eva was a huge L. So is the overall decrease is pull rates that come with Over-Clock characters, they are just tired of people being able to save gold tickets so they’ll come after them in the nastiest way.
I can understand people being unexcited for the Eva part 2. But otherwise, it's not really a decrease in pull rates. Over-spec are basically just Pilgrims. No one really should have expected the New Years character would be a regular unit. The Pilgrim Wishlist offsets that by a huge margin. That's an enormous win, mathematically.
Well, I _WAS_ going to attempt for Rapi, but the surprise second Evangelion collab has my full attention now. Very excited for that! I haven't spent much on the game, but I will get that outfit for Asuka. Speaking of spending, I don't know what I'm going to do about that Naga outfit. On one hand, it's obviously the gacha outfit and that's not fun. On the other hand, Naga has become one of my favorites and that's one of the most gorgeous outfits in the game. Also, happy with Pilgrims and Over-Specs being added to the wishlist.

SU were so nervous about players hating the EVA p2 collab that they had to squeeze in the Stellar Blade teaser.
I definitely think they may have sped up the tease just to assure people that different collabs were incoming beyond Eva.
