All four are rapping in three (English, Korean and Japanese) languages and flowing in and out with ease.There is no mistaking any of these four voices. No one sounds like Cocona, no one sounds like Maya, Harvey or Jurin. Cocona takes her time, she makes her rap memorable, she has the sound and the 'flow'. There is more sass and character in Maya's last 'chang... chang... hae...' than in some full rap verses I've heard. And if people don't think much of Harvey's rap, then they should listen to Harvey and Jurin's Kill Bill rap cover. And freaking Jurin. For XG to have Jurin cover Rosalia's Saoko was insane. That beat. Wow.
When I first saw BlackPink rap I was like, oh, okay, this is cool. When I saw XG rap I was floored and left speechless. XG is on a WHOLE different level.
It was the same for me ...but now that I discovered XG woooww they are really a rappers I love the rap line and I wish they could have more songs like this where they can show these skills 😍😍😍🔥🔥🔥
XG out beats Blackpink in rapping, not just in delivery but in lyrics as well. I'm a fan of both Blackpink and XG but the level XG brings is closer to the OG style of rapping. the better comparison would be Jessi or CL (2NE1)... who are actual rappers.
Want to be more impressed it's not bilingual, it's trilingual (Japanese Korean and English). Don't forget the vocal line too Vox 1-4 vox 5 haven't been released to UA-cam yet. I'm in love with Chisa and Juria solos
As a lifelong metalhead I have also been getting into asian pop/hip-hop, I think it comes from a need for something fresh and the music coming outta east Asia is so well done these days
