I rode with Jason at this track.....he is freakin incredible! One of the most impressive things I noticed about him blowing around this track was how smooth and relaxed he was....he just makes it look so easy. Learned so much riding with him.
After watching him get a 1:56 lap time on a stock bike on Dunlop q2s, it made me realize not to waste any money upgrading my bike. Gonna spend all that money on lessons/ track time now. Just went to star school this week, shaved more than 5 seconds off my lap time. Thanks to everyone at star school. Especially Jason , Greg, Angie, and Chris and Marc.
Hopefully this upcoming track day on April 27th 2012 will be a good learning experience for me. I have never been on a track so I will need some help **Jason**
This is instructional too, meaning he isnt in competition and he is showing basic riding will get sub 2min. Track record on a STOCK R6 is by Bradley Ward at 1:47, IN COMPETITION. If ever see Pridmore ride, he puts no effort into the bike. He doesnt hang off like a monkey unbalancing the bike, or goofy reaching for the knee to hit the ground. He rides like a Sunday afternoon cruz, but kills the lap times. I think David Anthony still has the record in competition for the 1000 at 1:44(not confirmed, just a recollection of my conversations with Bradley at many different tracks).
Honestly, 1:56 is not that impressive. Sofia Amadio runs that sort of time on an SV 650. I ran a 1:57 on a 2008 CBR1000RR on Q2's, but she did spit me off unceremoniously on that last sweeper when I touched the throttle whilst still cranked over...
He doesn't run 1:44's at Chuckwalla CCW. Let's see it. Correction...my bad...I thought you were saying Diego ran 1:44's. Yes Pridmore running 44's is ripping. I'm sure Gerloff or Elias would run high 1:30's...at least in qualifying.

Awesome riding! Fun to watch. I'm doing my first track day next year...

The moment you realize how slow you really are...when Jason passes you on one of his two-up rides. LOL

Must of been a class room session, you an see the students at the corners
It's not the bike.........
...It's the rider...... fantastic choice of line holding. I'm going to be like Jason one day... ^_^ on my 600 haha
You can use a good gps laptimer named Motorlap in that track, for Android devices
sick slides into turn 1
Holy hauling @ss Batman, Jason you rock dude. One day I too shall be Zen with my bike then my kung fu will be as good as yours... *bowing*
#129 here, do you think his lines work the same (relatively) in both directions?
He stills holds the fastest lap there
Kinda rides like a guy named Troy archer huh?

Diego Martinez lol his best time is 1:44
I seriously doubt Jason was on the gas and in race mode. I guess Diego has more credentials then Mr Pridmore
