It is a devotional song or rather a prayer for God Ganesh. The language used here is Marathi which is the native language of Maharashtra, a state in India. Jai Dev Jai Dev means Hail God Ganesh and Mangal Murti means the idol of well being. Darshan maatre man kaamna purti means When I meet you all my wishes are fulfilled. I have to explain the word Darshan seperately. For example when you go to any church, mosque to do your prayers, you have someone in your mind and heart that you are doing your prayers towards, and that being in your mind might or might not particularly have a body or a shape. Similarly in Hinduism or more correctly Sanatan Dharm, we have several idols to pray to and these have a body and a distinctive image. The image is such that we feel and believe that are real so when we meet them it is a supernatural and very overwhelming feeling. This concept is Darshan, which is a very respectable and devotional way of expressing your meeting with your God in the form of that idol. I hope that helped, Sorry that it was a little long but I tried my best to explain the whole concept to the best of my knowledge.
I dont think there is something special in his eyes only, the whole body is special. And If we translate the whole Aarti (devotional song), the devotee is actually praising his whole divine body, from his crown to his feet and also his greatness and his power.
