My dad left her 300$ out of 10,000 dollars. My mom got an apartment and slept in the living room so me and my brother had our own room and worked three jobs so she paid bills. Mom grew up in a terrible home where abusive behavior like beating your kids was the norm so she hid her depression and took us to parks daily and sold the car so we had enough money. And when she told me why we had to sell the car get rid of Internet had "challenges" to see how long we could go without buying new groceries a couple days ago i almost cried..
