    • @LucianoBorg
      @LucianoBorg Рік тому +5

      @@KonradTamas OMG you're strongly passionate about this comment bro. So, let me start by agreeing, yes Music is Music and the reason why instrumental music - Chopin and Niccolò Paganini (no words there) - ++++++ - were brilliant. And what I honestly think is happening here is that this particular music hits a "shitload" of different genres without lyrics, which is Superb.
      But...... I assure you...... that if we had to only listen to "instrumental music" for years then we would feel honoured to listen to music with lyrics!
      #MetalHeads

    • @KonradTamas
      @KonradTamas Рік тому +2

      @@LucianoBorg I appreciate your reply, but i have to disagree with you based on my experience, but maybe it comes down to taste, which we cannot control...
      Personally was listening to instrumental music in my last 5 years and never been happier !!
      Although in rare occasions i like music with lyrics which i dont understand, thus rendering those sounds as a sound of an instrument.
      When there are just "sounds", i can add whatever meaning i feel like to it (based on my mood, my needs etc..) when lyrics come in, it makes the whole experience narrower, limiting my imagination by telling me a story.
      Lets say there is a good energic metal, but the dude is singing about his broken heart, or a bad experience in his life... This makes a conflict in my head and does not let me truly fly and make sense of those sounds, and feel it how i like it to and what it means to me in that moment, which can be sad, extatik, happy, empowered etc... by telling me a story, just limits it.
      I may be a freak to overthink it like that, but this is my true experience.
      My other concern with lyrics is that i listen to a song many times and all those lyrics are goin in Repeat in my brain. Repetition is the most powerful programing tool. (See and hear one thing 10.000 times, now it became a fact in your head, this is how we got desensitized to eating junk food, living like an egotistic narcissist, all that is normalized with exposure and repetition) If you know something about subliminal programing, you know what i am talking about. Its the lightest thing in the short run, barely noticeable but they accumulate over time to a worldview, to a self-view and that can have a big effect. The American psychosis is mainly made by this, with the help of movies and commercials ofc... Slowly but surely they convince you "how the world looks like", who are you in this world, etc.. but probably its not the most constructive-healthy perspective you can take on it... How you see the world, affects how you feel in the world in the end of the day. So i want to edit mine how i want to and dont like to be randomly programmed. Call me crazy, but im happy af with my life.

      Umm, Metallica's Orion came out in the 80s. Instrumental has been around forever. Let me know if you want a list as half of my library is instrumental metal. Many metal bands also offer instrumental versions of their albums like Kadinja, Periphery and Erra. Also, as a guitarist since 12 and approaching 37...I love me some good rhythms.... but that isn't stopping me from loving leads (shred or otherwise). Why can't all guitar riffs just be based on quality and not if "rhythm" or "lead"?

    🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸 - This ROCKS! I have been playing guitar for 3 years and I would love to see the TABS for some of the Chorus sections especially the song at 43:33. That track also has a banging SOLO.
