Hi! Try this; my AC died once and of course I checked the fuse on in the electric panel - but it turned out to be a flipped fuse/breaker on the outside unit! Alllllll that suffering waiting for the repair man to flip a switch that was on the outside unit on the bottom. So I always check it first. No tools needed
