The connector just had to be cleaned, not replaced. Broken waterproof seals without replacing them, unnecessary scratching of the phone by handling, removing tempered glass and camera covers without asking or replacing it.. Boy this one was painful to watch…

Removing the temp glass and stuff but there allowed to be because there to be fixed and it didn't need cleaning. It needs to be replayed, I mean the changing port the thing went right in so it was not dirty.

1- I recommend you to buy a pad for repair. You keep scratching the device on the surface of the table.
2- The equipment you use during repair is generally metal and you have to forcefully remove some parts and flexes, so you can get plastic equipment.
3- When cleaning, you can wipe it with a decent cloth rather than toilet paper, after all, it is not very expensive.
4- If you do not remove the camera protector with a knife, you will be more respectful of your work. Not scratching the camera is more important than cleaning it to attract viewers.

Don’t use tweezers to clean the speaker ports. Use a toothpick as well as a brush to not scratch the color off.

I think u should use a normal soft tooth brush dipped in alcohol 70% and then rub it and wipe it with microfiber to clean the phone rather than tissue paper which will cause micro scratches

i clean my phone with a disenfectant wipe and then use a microfiber cloth to dry it, for the screen i use lens cleaner and a microfiber cloth

I using rubbing alcohol with soft cosmetic pads. I cleaning my phone pretty often especially after using public transportation.
I'll clean my phones with a microfiber cloth every few days to get the dust off. Sometimes if I see to much dust build up in certain cases I'll wash my cases in soap and water and let them fully dry before putting them on again

Honestly, this is not as bad as some of the other phones you've cleaned in the past.
Get this mans an otter-box case. Those are amazing if you constantly get phone dirty, and they protect the phone well.
He could have used an otterbox defender 😂 but instead he used a terrible case for normal usage, instead of hardened construction usage.

Holy crap this was the most unnecessary cleaning ive ever seen. Its how i imagine a 8 yr old would clean a phone. Isopropyl alcohol and a cloth would have done better and saved the unneeded port changes and possibly ruined speakers.

I think you scratched the phone a lot. You can use a soft, thin brush for cleaning, or a very thin needle instead of the tool you use, but great work.

I know the phone has been abused and dirty but this dude cleans it with what looks like a plastic razor and smearing the sand on the paper towel around... Not to mention the speaker holes damaging it more with a METAL TWEEZER. Why was it so hard to just simply use a brush and cleaning it in the sink?
