For the moment right now, the response speed, Sanwa M17 is the fastest, Futaba 10px the second, and the third will be Flysky Noble Pro and Radiomaster MT12.
But do remember, Sanwa, Futaba and Flysky have special decode encode method which will boost us the speed with SR/SSR/iBus2, which MT12 don't have. Flysky Noble Pro have 2ch mode, cut down the packet size and speed, which MT12 don't have.
MT12 response is fast but still need to improve.

@@RCEVOLUTION Edge TX with ELRS will do F1000 mode over the air and 400hz pwm output on the receiver. This is already somewhere in the sub 4ms range between the control input and a change in pwm output at the receiver. Would the highest performing racer notice the difference between 1, 2, 3, or 4ms latency? I'm not sure.
Though I do think it would be very cool if servos and receivers and surface ESCs that can talk Dshot like racequad ESCs come out at some point. That would be 1ms round trip latency finally realized. Dshot lets the flight controller in racequads tell the ESC what to do at just ridiculous speeds. Like under 20uS depending on what hardware being used.

@@power21100 right but what are you actually saying? If your charge port wears out you will continue to use the radio by charging the battery externally and using the data port when needed? Or will you just replace the charge port? And if that’s the case what does it matter that it’s separate?
And I know you say it *will* wear out, and I’ve heard of people having issues with USB-C ports, but I have never broken a single one ever, not on RC gear (radio, VTX, FC, etc.) or on any other personal items (I’m a Mac user so I’ve been almost exclusively USB-C for almost ten years). USB micro broke all the time, though, so I’m happy that’s finally pretty much gone from everything.
I still argue that from a design perspective, having separate ports makes absolutely no sense. Your phone doesn’t do it. Your computer (probably) doesn’t do it. Your Bluetooth speaker doesn’t do it. You get my point. Even from a cost perspective it makes no sense. It would be cheaper for them to only put in one port. So why then? Laziness? I know my passion on this is irrational but as an engineer I just can’t figure out why they would do it.

Here are the answers to the common questions below -
    1) Will it bind to other ExpressLRS receivers?
Yes any ExpressLRS RX is compatible. Plus, it'll support binding to multiple receivers for huge PWM channels in the model. See ua-cam.com/video/3q5KTM7IGI0/v-deo.html
    2) What is the latency?
    F1000mode and 400hz PWM output = ~1.5ms
    F1000mode and 333hz PWM output = ~2.0ms
    3) Can it be setup for tracked vehicles?
Yes it can, all of the same options are in EdgeTX. ua-cam.com/video/YewheGdSqPU/v-deo.html shows how
    4) Can it be setup to connect to a Head Tracker or trainer radio?
Yes it has a trainer port that functions the same as other radios.

Regarding the multi-protocol version, protocol support can be hit or miss, so I would not purchase this expecting it to work with everything ready to run you have. That being said, if the community participates (and maybe RadioMaster can contribute to the effort?), we can get more protocols supported. Currently the RadioLink FHSS v1 protocol RX works for me, and I am having issues with an SCX 24 C10 and Kyosho FHSS Mini-Z. Hello me I ask if it is normal about radiomaster mt12 when the receiver battery inside RC buggy is drop about 40% the Rx signal will drop maximum 4 bars drops to 2bars and the calibration of steering will delay? I'm using radio master mt12 4in1

I have the Flysky NB4 and always hoped that it will also support the older protocols at some point, but it probably never will, since Flysky has no interest in doing that. The firmware is not bad, but certainly no EdgeTX. Also the RXs are pretty expensive.
I therefore still use some older GT3C with the cheap Flysky RXs with a custom firmware. But the build quality isn't great and it's a bit complicated to set up.
This radio could be ideal as a replacement (4in1 variant) to use with the simple transmitters, which are completely fine for most vehicles and only cost a few bucks.
I hope this will also inspire others to create similar products in the future.

4.7km is the max for 250mW, although ground based vehicles can bump into issues with obstructions and other issues reducing usable range. For most (who don't want to do exploring WAYYYYY BLOS, it should be plenty). Plus, it has a module bay if you want to use something more exotic..

@@Painless360 no way this is correct. Oscars blog notes ELRS can hit 30+km at only 100mw with 250hz LoRa. Where are you getting 4.7km? That isn't even as far as the DJI hard limit and tons of people have but that.
Though you are correct, surface reflections and being low to the ground complicate things.
But to say ELRS is limited to < 5km at 250watts is false

Before watching this... 2/3rds of the world steers with their left hand and operates accessories with their right.🙂😞 Oh Well.
Please tell them some would like two full sized joysticks on a transmitter tray with a yoke/spreader to keep the straps outside your arms. Between the sticks a tablet sized hooded video display above a radio or keyboard or wheel or yoke whatever the user wants. Everything should be configurable on or off the tray for a multi-operator device. (pilot/gunner) Lots of accessories to sell. Oh buy the folding chair, with pedals, and sit in the field. Lots of videos to make about how cool it is.

Enormous hole in the market they just filled. 16 channels and unlimited programmability for the scale crawler guys to get super dorky with all their lights and winches yadda yadda yadda. ELRS F1000 and 400hz servo pwm for the carpet buggy guys. MPM for the guys that have a bunch of different receivers and vehicles they need to bind to. Ability to run Crossfire or 900Mhz ELRS for people that want to long range FPV a surface vehicle. All for a radio and receivers that are a fraction the price of all the big names. Wins all around for the consumer. Another death knell for the proprietary software ecosystems.... They are going to make less money in the short term but if they want to stay in the radio business long-term Horizon and the other big names would do well to start making EdgeTX and ELRS equipment. There is still a market for radios that have a higher degree of fit and finish than Radiomaster but they must run EdgeTX and have a module bay to stay relevant imo.
I'm picking up 2wd carpet buggy racing this season and am currently set up with my Boxer and ELRS since it's what I had. Now I have to juggle the idea of picking up one of these for a pistol grip style. Decisions decisions.... Then again the stick radio really doesn't seem to be slowing me down so I'll probably stick with that.
