I follow the Sephardic/North africa way of donning a tallit...before putting 2 tzittzit infront and the back over the shoulders ...i rap the tallit in the fashion of a ishmaelite scarf.
Yes! I normally put the Tallit according to the Sephardic customs. I had an Ashkenazi Siddur with me. Because I went to show my coworker this morning. It had English so he could read it. So I did not have my nusach Ha'Mizrach. My Tefillin are Sephardic.

My Sephardic siddur tells me to rap the tallit like a Ishmaelite... Askenazi rap it different
