For example: As it said in the end that Akito's eyes changed because he quitted stalking Aki for privacy, however Aki's eyes never changed because she still kills people. Their eyes changing is not based on their lovers but in their actions instead. So if Aki fully stopped killing people, her eyes will go back to normal.
