OMG the fact that he was up against Ross Lynch is huge. Ross is literally the best person in the world because he's amazing at a gazillion things. I'm so glad that they both got their part that they both needed in the end because if it was the opposite then the tv shows wouldn't be the same and that same chemistry between the characters in each show wouldn't have been developed.
Honestly I'm kinda glad Josh didn't get it because the show wasn't really that good in my opinion and kinda stupid. Also Ross did a great job
@@larenaabdon4473 I literally only watched to show to see how it was the opposite of my religion basically, but it kinda got annoying after the breakups. Ross was the best person for the role since he's better at acting in those type of shows. Joshua doesn't have that much experience on being in different show styles plus he really wanted to focus on his singing career so he was perfect for hsmtmts.

Obviously this is a little bit different but regardless... The thing about these two is they are both artists. People forget that. He didn’t DO anything to her. He fell out of love with her and met someone else.... he actually did the RIGHT thing and wasn’t deceitful and didn’t lead her on. But she’s an artist, so when she was going through all the emotions instead of just crying alone or posting sad quotes on Instagram like most of us do lol... she wrote songs. When you consider she was writing those songs right after they broke up WHILE having to work along side her ex and kiss him etc bc their characters dare (*seriously just imagine how awful that would be*) as he’s getting phone calls and pop ins from his new girlfriend.... anyone would be emotional. So naturally an artist in that situation, and it also probably being their first real “adult” type relationship... of course the songs are going to be SO intense. That doesn’t mean she hates his guts forever or that they had the worst split of all time yelling at each other in the streets, you know? It means the opposite probably. It means she got out her feelings through her gifts instead of letting it eat her alive or making her act “crazy”.
