- Sabiha Khanum was one of Pakistan’s film industry’s leading
actresses in the 70s and 80s.She was the wife of Santosh
Kumar who himself was a leading actor of Pakistani films.
I am her Samdhi. Her son Ahsan is married to my daughter.’
I am very sad to admit that my daughter did not respect Sabiha Bhabi during her life.
She would not let Ahsan see her or meet his mother or let her visit.
I am still angry with my daughter and I do not have terms with her. I feel bad and guilty for a daughter who turned out to be against my values.
Sabiha Bhabi was always in touch with me during the last few years of her life.
She was a very decent and naik khatoon.
Very spiritual and connected with the teachings of Quran and our prophet.
May Allah accept her in paradise. Ameen.

did you notice that Moneeza Hashmi chose to not even be shown during her interview. she asks question and then wait for the interviewee to finish and then continue. That was the standard back then so Amazing!

What a beautiful dress sense we had in 80s - 90s and everyone looked so elegant. After internet globalization we lost our culture. Hats off to Muneeza. I wish that duration was more as I feel tishnagi after each interview.

Excellent interview, but I’m confused about one thing. She mentions her nanehaal as being very conservative and not accepting of her going in the film line, but her mother was also an actress, for example in the film ‘Heer’ where Madam Noor Jehan was a child artist. Her name was Iqbal Begum (Balo) and father Muhammad Ali (Mahiya)
Dont get confused pl. These actresses dont have courage to tell their" particular" fimily background ....so they all show themselves very religious n conservative. Her entire story has missing links. How a girl can be selected heroine immediately???? So all lie.
