Pitou started crying because she was literally created to vow her entire existence to being obedient to Meruem, and he under him her entire life.
Meruem just asked her a personal favor. This is practically the same as bowing to her and saying "I need you, your strength is greater than mine."
It's like God saying that he needs you to help him, that's definitely going to be incredibly overwhelming.
When i first watched it, I thought its because Pitou see the King has changed so much, and develop feelings for Komugi. Since the other Royal Guards feels she’s a threat, I would assume Pitou feels the same way.

Pretty much she is crying the same way Pouf does on episode 134, when Pouf heard the King said to Welfin “I hope you can live as a human”
Honestly more than just that I feel. Whats important to the king is important to her. If the king loves komugi, she loves komugi. Out of all the royal guard pitou is most open to her own feelings.
same when palm felt how important the king was and started crying(different reason but same feeling) because in the ants point of view he is the messiah/savior of their race and being relied upon by him made them happy as for palm's case she knew his importance so she didnt want to see it get destroyed

as we can see, King Bach has presented a rather large spoon to his friend. The humor in this video stems from the fact that King Bach would like to eat ice cream but his friend retorts at him, saying he can only have a spoon full, nothing more. Bach then suddenly changes his expression and body language and reveals that he is indeed in possession of a spoon. And not just any spoon, it is a massive stainless steel spoon. This is funny because you would never expect someone to just be casually in possession of a massive spoon to eat ice cream with. It is completely unorthodox and uncalled for. This is why the video is so humorous and was put on the 2012 Epic Vine compilation playlist on UA-cam.

Well at least it not like DB where a whole 12 ep just a mere 1 second
Well DBZ is honestly a mess. It's not just that, it's also that in order to fit all the events to the amount of time that's been said to pass, characters need to _speak_ at super speed, too.
The main reason behind HxH slowing down so much here is because there are so many perspectives to show. If you actually look at the amount of time that elapses (to which the narrator gives a hint in a few episodes' time, it looks an order of magnitude more plausible than DBZ.

Well if you remember, nen is life energy, he's trained it while punching, praying, and did it for years. So better nen = more life energy = longer life.

@@lufcoCR7No man, it is definitely because of Nem, it is said that it reduces the effects of aging, and people who reach 110 are rare but even occur in the real world.
Do you see Netero after he expands all his Nen on zero hand. He actually looks 110. It is pretty obvious Nen masters like Netro and Bisky have some pretty nifty body altering techniques. Netero was using Nen to stay in shape and halt his aging.
Only person confirmed in the series to use these herbs in the Dark Continent to live is Don Freecss and it's just a speculation by Ging (probably is true) and Don is over 300 years old which is an extremely old age, Netero is at 110, however 110 isn't too old if you're a nen mastermind so I don't think he used those herbs.
These are two of my favorite episodes, Narrator-chan finally comes to play seriously. The narrator is the honest to god mvp of the show. Also, can't wait for next thursday's episode 116. Best VA I've ever heard tbh.

Jeffrey Thacker netero wouldn’t be able to do enough damage to pitou it can just tank neteros hits the body’s of the Royal guards are to strong. Netero would have speed over pitou but that’s it.
She cried because the King asked her a favor. He only so far commanded them and any living beings (besides Komugi) as his tools, but at that moment he asked her a favor and counted on her, trust her. The reason of her existence just acknowledged her and needed her.
Also yeah, at that split second they looked away at Pitou ability, the King could have easily killed them both. It was shocking to them both the mistake of taking eyes of the prey and how immensely powerful it was.
Is it strange that I watch these as soon as they drop on patreon and then as soon as the UA-cam upload happens I'm like "oh sweet, more content!". Eh, whatever, love it all. Thanks again, mate.

Pitou is nowhere near Meruem´s power and even for him it was almost imposibble to get even close to Netero. He won only because of his knowledge of gungi.
But my assumption is, that Netero would have hard time if Pitou used post mortem Nen similar to fight with Gon. Her post mortem Terpsichora was nuts.
Your reactions to this are making me smile big time. HxH is my fave of all time. You can feel it, the sensation of tension and stress HxH creates is like experiencing Pitou's En. The amount of time that is passing is so short and the detail that is going into every moment is just insane. Keep it up man!!
112 episodes of sheer beauty of a story and it took to all of the episodes bring the true impact of what this moment and this arc means. Not a single wasted episode. Gotta love Hunter Hunter. The tears 😭😭😭 will be real

The pacing can be a bit off at some times but yeah it’s a great 9.5-9.6 out of 10 for me, it barely misses my top 5 and ranks as my number 6 currently but it’s definitely worth incesting a few weeks into

My favourite is One Piece.
Its definitely worth the watch. Just keep in mind some people (myself included) think that the first arc or so is kinda boring but after that it gets going and keeps going. I'd say its definitely in my top 5. Probably top 3 honestly

I love the concept throughout the show about not knowing the intricacies of Abilities and what would happen if the user was killed. We first saw this when the troupe explained that they couldn't kill kurapika because his nen would most likely last after he dies. Although one of my favorite parts of this entire show is when the narrator explains how no one knew if Knuckle was killed while in gods accomplice would the ability deactivate, or would their presence be lost forever.

seeing people internally debate in that moment on whether or not komugi died is always so entertaining to watch lmaooo even the scenes w shoot with the butterflies and the blood or that one scene w knuckle (i cant rmbr what episode), i feel like this arc has so many moments where you dont know if the symbolism on screen is representing someone’s death or it’s just a fake out :)
That was the first time the king said "I'm counting on you" to anyone. that's why pitou cried because he could feel the king's feelings and at the same time pitou is so touched that the king put so much trust in him/her by saying "i'm counting on you"
Episode 111 will always be the hypest episode ever
You're the first reactor to correctly guess why Pitou was crying. When Pitou was rocketing towards the room the king was in, the Narrator stated that the King's emotion, through the aura he was emitting, was so unmasked that it was plain to read what he was thinking/feeling. This meant that Pitou was feeling what the king was feeling and that feeling was sadness, because his friend Komugi could be dead or on the verge of dying and he wasn't able to protect her. For Pitou, this emotion the king was feeling manifested into tears and was sort of unexplained because this is the first time they had to deal with this new emotion. Also Pitou was specifically tasked to watch over Komugi but she failed him in that regard. Contrary to popular opinion, Pitou didn't cry because Meruem asked her a favor as he actually always asks them stuff here and there throughout the anime.
I mean, i think its really like a mix of these things, including what you pointed out. The reason why that is a popular opinion, cus before Meruem mostly more like issued *orders* (as to a "tools"), but except this time where its really feels like a personal *favor* (as to a "person"). All and all Meruem is like a literal God to Pitou and he acknowledged the reason of her existence and need in her, so yeah, i think putting this into words from Meruem part also is important for Pitou too.

Ep 112 of HxH is one of the most unique and greatest episodes in anime, the slow paced time, the silence, the emotion, the narration, the choice of music, it's like an epic 20min scene from an oscar winning movie.
Pitou wasn't ready for the Boomer Hand.
In all seriousness though, your appreciation of the scenes and your attention to details of what HxH conveys in its story and characters has made this journey of yours incredibly compelling. I've always found HxH to be very good, but also very hit and miss personally, with a lot of lows but some very high highs. But your enjoyment of the series so far has made it so much easier to appreciate aspects of HxH that I may not have previously, it's great.
Save them tears for later. You’ll definitely need them.😭😔
