When it comes to parties, I have often wondered about the synchronicity of music and light. More often than not, I observed complete desynchronization. However, everything here is presented with great professionalism. GREAT respect to all employees!! You made my dream come true!
That's because the show is prebuild and use a sound sync to execute the commands at the right time. The keyword is timecode. If you are on a festival some stuff is also timecoded or even in bigger clubs, but for small clubs you didn't use Timecode. Also for me it's not very enjoyable. Sure everything is in perfect time, but hitting the lights in a perfect time on your favorite song... that's so challenging and fascinating. And on songs you didn't like or are new, you will miss the drop sometimes.

Of course, there is the opposite where the lighting operators are lazy and just leave on one preset which isn't even in sync with the beat and it looks terrible, it's probably only me that notices as everyone on the dancefloor are out of their heads or too busy enjoying the music 😄

Sad isn't it? It's more about the visual spectacle than the music these days even though the music is some of the best produced in a long time. Add in a Facebook / UA-cam generation where people have to VLOG where they are and who they've seen and this is what you get. To be fair to this video though, looking at the floor from this angle it always looks like it's dead down there wehereas infact it's more lively than it looks.
