Always like seeing the goats 🐐 and dogs 🐕. I see the dogs keep the goats away from their food. Do you go you everyday with dog food and treat grains for the goats?
@@SouthWestIron No. if you don’t worm them it’s extremely difficult. If you do worm them it can still be very difficult. Think about it….the goat is a small ruminant that eats everything a cow doesn’t and will average having 1.6 babies per nannie and you can sale them for around $200. That’s a money making machine but how come most farmers and ranchers don’t raise them…..because they die very easily.😳😳
@@SouthWestIron the best thing would be if you could find someone in your area that’s doing goats successfully, then mimic them. Don’t get discouraged. Start small. Save females from within your own herd.
True Goats will eat anything…. I don’t watch much TV but Survivor is my favorite show
You’re right on that. I wish they survived based on how they eat not on parasites.
I know how that feeding goes shake and run drop a little here drop a little there. 😂. Good video!! Goats look good!!
You said it!! Thanks Josh!!!!!

Yes on the dog food no on the treats. I only do the treats when I’m close to moving them a long distance or penning them. It helps a lot.😁😁😁
Great looking stock 👍 glad I found your channel
Thanks for the complement! Appreciate you watching and commenting.
Keep up the great job on putting videos out
Thanks for the compliment. We’ll keep busing them out!👊🏼👊🏼
Cool video, how many Spanish goats do you have?
Around 150 right now. Trying to grow...:)
Thanks for the video
@@byamukamabenson3417 thanks for watching
My bales for snow are all weeds especially pig weed and serisza lespadiza. Also good to wean with. They like junk hay to a cattleman
Good advice!!! Now I’ll have to find someone who bales the weeds😳😳😂😂
Black goats are beautiful.
Thank you 😁😁

Thinking of starting to raise spanish goats on my place. Fencing is a huge outlay though.
It is the biggest outlay next to the land. I will say this, in my experience keeping them in is much easier than keeping them alive.
@@addisonranch hard to keep them alive? I thought they thrived?

What’s up with that old John Deere?
Parked until it’s needed😳😳
@@addisonranch ah ok!
what is the price per head for goats??
It depends on what they weigh. Kids around 40-49 lbs should be $4/lb and up. Thanks for watching Sally!
Do you sale any Spanish goats I’m interested in getting some offspring’s of your goats
Hey Israel! We’re really not in a position to sale any females right now but we will have some billies for sale in the late spring early summer.
