In 2006 when I was up there the tracks and water crossings went that deep and gutted out but it would also mention that Loyalty Beach also rent out dinghies and there is a local fellow who owns a helicopter any churches $50 per person to have a sticky beak around mind you there was no helicopter tours but they're all started because I opened my mouth in 2006 where he can make a bit of coin for himself
I can fully understand why people do it and to be honest, if my car was set up to tackle it, I would've had a go. BUT I still had an entire lap in front of me, so I didn't want to risk it haha Cheers, Mitch
We worked our butts off and saved every penny for a year before we took off on this trip - We'll definitely cover all of this in a wrap-up video later on! Cheers, Mitch
Thanks for showing a side of cape York that’s accessible to most and doesn’t kill cars, you got me keen to have a crack myself! Thanks for the vids
Thanks heaps for watching!
Cheers,
Mitch
Your excitement is infectious. Love the passion youse are putting into this series
When you come back down you need to make a big right-hand turn and go the Savannah Way into the Northern Territory
Great to see that you dont have to destroy the car to have a good time. Great trip, hope to get there soon. Cheers
Love the sound of a 1kz te engine.
The Billabong to the left after you went through that deep crossing has a heap of really curious and cute turtles in it that come up to say hello!
Cool! congrats on your trip! 🏞️🛻😎🤙📹
Definitely shaping up to be a hell of a vacation.
Magic.......enjoy, thanks for the share 🤙👍
Epic adventure so far
Love seeing your partner in the videos! Looks like the trip of a lifetime for you both.
Great vid......
Another awesome vid! How long did the Prado carpet take to dry out?
I reckon it probably took a good week or two because we could leave it open all day to air out😂
Cheers,
Mitch
Simply awesome..
Good one 👍

"Should we check first?"
"Nah!"
Famous last words 🤣
That was awesome 👍😎
Hey man, for someone who is looking at Prado as well, and is as tall, did you modify the seat to extend leg room?
How many kms has the car done all up?
Haven’t done the Tele if you didn’t do Gunshot
I'm still sad that I didn't get to at least see it, but at the same time, we had an absolute blast doing the rest of the track!
Cheers,
Mitch
Agree, why would you put your cars into things like Palm creek
I can fully understand why people do it and to be honest, if my car was set up to tackle it, I would've had a go. BUT I still had an entire lap in front of me, so I didn't want to risk it haha

Palm creek is deceiving, but nearly any car can drive it with the right driver.
I agree, 100% - I still had an entire country to cross, so I didn't want to risk breaking something 😅
Cheers,
Mitch
My question is why wreck your car when you don’t have to, you always have to get back from up there.
My thoughts exactly!

Mitch
How did you get the $50,000 to pay for the vehicle, equipment, food etcetera without an income to pay for this trip?
We worked our butts off and saved every penny for a year before we took off on this trip - We'll definitely cover all of this in a wrap-up video later on!
