1st Thoughts: The DioField Chronicle | A misunderstood masterpiece

I've probably got a few misgivings with the game.
1. Its far too easy even on hard the strategy aspect of this games isn't particualarly present.
2. NG+ doesn't scale meaning it doesn't act as a remedy for the 1st point
3. The story is like okay nothing was particularly surprising the lore in the library adds to it but it was nothing special.
The core battle system is good and I hope square keeps it around(although ideally not for a diofield 2) and early on its fun but man this game screams wasted potential a strategy game where I don't find myself really thinking is a clear miss.

I enjoyed trying out the demo, but the game feels a tad overpriced, so I will be skipping for now. Maybe I’ll pick it up if/when it goes on sale. Cheers.
