Anthony Dowdy's Testimony

When Anthony’s wife dropped off divorce papers at Donovan
State Prison, Anthony flipped out. Maribel had threatened divorce
before, but he’d never taken her seriously.
Now, the thought of losing her and their three daughters was more
than he could bear. Planning to end his life, Anthony climbed the
stairs to the second tier of the prison and peered over the ledge,
ready to jump. Life as an addict had finally taken its toll.
This is Anthony’s story.
