Hello Mr. Musa, I work as Microsoft Dynamics 365(ERP) developer with a certain company, with Comp Science degree. Having knowledge in finance and accounting can very useful in that field. I have heard you explain the chart of accounts and it's impressive. By any chance you give trainings ?
He said you need to be a graduate to get remote jobs at least 90%. That is not true. There are intermediate remote jobs from the US that require high-school-level candidates in the US it's GED grads which is equivalent to KCSE grads in Kenya. Most huwa Customer Care jobs very mentally breaking but the pay is good and the hours are good as well, they pay a minimum of $15 an hour and you work around 5 hours
Thanks for the insight only in Kenya are the Americans asking for degrees I guess cause it is Kenya wanting people to verify the degrees . I work in corporate and I hire and several times I have hired high paying for ppl With no degrees I honestly don’t go for papers I go with integrity and someone who can be trained yes ppl come with masters and higher and at times I pick a high school diploma person. Unfortunately it’s just Americans and green card holders I hire. So hopefully they will begin considering the no degree policy for Kenya remote jobs. He talked of virtual meeting if I tell you Indians run late and have excuses that don’t make sense lol Indians in India they get on my nerves .
Very informative regarding the online roles , asanteni 🙌🏿 regarding the land , my aunt bought land in Malindi using lawyers, did due diligence but she’s now in court with someone saying the land belongs to them … apparently these lands have names changed and sold on illegally.
If this is genuine, why you didn't ask him for the link to the online job so that we can also apply? A Kenyan working remote in Kenya cannot be paid $30 per hour unless ametumia ujanja, and that's why many of these online jobs have been closed to Kenyans.
Very interesting conversation that has not only touched on the online working space, but also on money-management. Wazi team Iko Nini!!
Asante Kush kama kawa
