Memeysauce Lol no, Dreamswap is a swap multiverse mostly centered around Dream and Nightmare, but there are other swaps such as Cross and Ink, and Error and Blue. I've got this whole thing practically memorized so; Nightmare, instead of the whole dark apple incident thing happening because of the bullying, just didn't care because he's a chill memer in this. He also fed one of the dark apples to his chicken because lol why not. Dream wanted to find a way to stop the spread of negative emotions so he turned all the remaining apples gold and ate them and now he has wings, started a multiversal government, and has Nightmare at the top of his wanted list because Nightmare is the leading cause of depression or whatever. Nightmare steals one of the golden apples to eat for himself.
Nightmare, a little less than a hundred years later I think, finds Cross in Xtale and shows him the access routes to a few other universes, then leaves. Cross explores for a bit but comes back to find Ink in Xtale. They talk a bit, Cross is glad to have a new best friend, etc. Eventally Cross asks Ink about his own universe and Ink's all like "ehhhhh I'm actually universe-less and was hoping you could show me yours" and Cross goes "haha yeahhhh about that" and just kinda gestures to the empty space around them. One day when Cross is out, Dream finds Ink and offers Ink a job at Justice Reigns, and Ink's like "you literally radiate happiness of course I'll join your multiverse government, screw Cross" and Cross comes back to see Ink being taken away by Dream. Cross attempts to infiltrate JR but finds out Ink left on purpose, finds Nightmare who's probably escaping for whatever reason, and the two go back to wherever Nightmare's staying.
Meanwhile, there's a messed up Underswap timeline where the Papyrus is abusive and all the code is breaking. Core Frisk tells the Sans there that they'll have a portal to safety open when it happens. Eventually the world begins breaking, the Underswap Sans is running trying to find the portal, and encounters the Papyrus. The Papyrus falls into a glitch, hanging onto the edge and calling out for help.
Long live the king.
Swap Sans makes it to the portal but falls into the Anti-void halfway through. Proceeds to glitch just enough to escape and forget what happened to abusive brother. Decides to live in literal space because why not.
Meanwhile again, some skeleton named Myriad just escaped a genocide route but ends up killing a guy on the surface in self defense and is now running from that guy's friends. Shelters in abandoned house, begins receiving notes and baskets of food from some anonymous person. Encounters that person, a skeleton with a glitching eye, and a blue scarf similar to his own. Other skeletom tells Myriad "that guys friends found you, heccin RUN". Myriad calls the guy Blue after the color of his scarf, and says something about wishing to forget this all. Blue gets an absolutely brilliant idea and yeets Myriad into the Anti-void.
Myriad comes out with complete amnesia and a lot more glitchy than Blue. Blue wasn't expecting this but plays along anyways, introducing himself as Blue, saying they've never met before, calling him Error after the glitches, and saying "wanna see my house in space" and proceeds to kidnap Error to his house in space.
Blue turns out to be a manipulative jerk and Error finally manages to escape and realise this, finding Cross and Nightmare and the three start the Meme Squad (canon name, no joke). Also Dream has a love interest who dies, Blue sneaks into Dream's office and nobody knows how, Ink isn't emotionless but was used as a government weapon in his own AU, Nightmare can play violin, Cross.. barely changes, and Error's the one who has to break Nightmare and Cross out of JR whenever they get caught.
In other words Dreamswap is a mess and I forgot what the original context of this comment was because I've been typing for an hour.
I love how Gaster just keeps on popping up at random times....also...Take all my likes!!!
