Thank you guy's for this new video this beautiful province of La Union through you I'm now watching this beautiful views thank you Zoe and Czar always take care both of you
Everything is so cheap!! I would've lhired someone to take pictures and videos. My grandma was from LA union. It's been over 50yrs that I haven't seen the Philippines! I have to go back to visit and buy some land! You guys came during the rainy season. Good video👍
I've lived in Paringao, Bauang for 10 years. If your bus traveled down the National Highway (on its way to San Juan) you would have passed my apartment compound, named 'Green Valley Residential Apartments'. Its about 6km before you get to San Fernando City, then its another 14km to San Juan. As you know, San Juan is mainly a surfing and craft/arts area with great food venues. In my experience, the fastet, safest and most comfortable way to travel down from Baguio to La Union is by a Partas Bus or a private pre-booked taxi (reasonably priced of course). One of the 'rules' that I was taught by the locals is that you should never take a cheap public bus down from Baguio in wet weather. Most people die on the Baguio-to-ELYU roads (downhill !) are traveling on cheap/old buses, jeepneys or motorbikes... normally in wet weather or at night.
Wow nice to see La Union again, my home province. Looks so different. Very touristy, not like 20 years ago. Great vlog guys, good looking couple! Guys, try Pagudpud!
You pronounce it as La Un- yon, it has become a bucket list destination for young and old lately, i still remember walking on a bare beach when i was younger growing up there, good it has blossomed into what millenials call the province ELYU...hope you come back and explore more of La Union.
You should have rode at the bus terminal where Joybus drops you off. There are Partas aircon buses there bound for Laoag that passes by La Union and that bus is like a roller coaster that blasts you down the mountain pass. You’ll be at the beach in no time. 😁
nice journey it seems that you are travelling from place to place which is not far from each other if you go north you'll reach ilocos but if you go south west you'll reach hundred islands and bolinao...
Next destination: Pagudpud, listed in 2021 Travel + Leisure Top 25 beaches. Your friends Craig and Rayna were hoping to reach there after Vigan, but apparently there weren’t any buses going there.
to be fair, sometimes it's better to eat at a local carinderia.and just a suggestion.buy a pork crackling or chicharon baboy.crush it and sprinkle it on top of the rice.hope you'll enjoy it.
The bus you took i think was an ordinary bus thats why it took you guys forever to get there. Cant wait to see you guys surfing since la union is the surfing capital of the north!
Hello! 🥰 Good morning! Explored the North? Hmm, I guess your next stop is Vigan City in the province of Ilocos Sur or maybe Pangasinan to visit the Hundred Islands? or went straight back to Manila. 😄 Shhh... sorry, I don't wanna spoil your next vlog. ✌️🙈
Yes we were only saying expensive for Philippines, we are aware it’s cheaper than Europe! However we made a date night out of it and all our food was cold 🥶/ stale so to us wasn’t worth it! If we had gone for an expensive meal in Europe & had the same food served we would of said the same we are just being honest we won’t lie and say it’s perfect when it wasn’t we even said in the video we hope it was just our experience that was bad and not all the time 🙏🏼
The drone shot of the surfers is incredible. Too bad about that dinner where the food was cold. Gutom na Gutom na si Zoe. My guess for your next destination is Pagsanjan falls in Laguna? You are still far away from Bicol region.
Laguna is deffo on the list they have some stunning waterfalls but not this time 🙏🏼 Bicol is coming soon 👀 but we are going to have to do it in two parts 😂 we have to go somewhere in between and Bicol is so big and we wanna explore it all 😂🙏🏼
@@ZoeCzar please see my short video on UA-cam on Bicols Hibiscus camp located on top of Mt Isarog. A must see with 3 infinity pool. Then there’s the Caramoan islands and ATV ride going to Mayon volcano. Penafrancia festival in Naga city in Sept. You are right Bicol is big. Been here 1 month now and loving it.
hello.. new sub here.. was intrigued with what you guys are going to say about with La Union...coming from a Filipino honest review, I'd say it's a never again for me...Everything is sooooooooooooo commercialized, and so freakin' expensive... La Union thinks they are like Boracay... not bad for a beach..but there are wayyyy nicer beaches in Zambales or even in Puerto Galera (which are wayyyyyyy cheaper)..
You're getting closer to Ilocos, the hometown of our President Marcos🙂. From La Union, it takes 3 hrs more to Ilocos. Beaches in La Union is not that awesome compared to Palawan. Hope u still like it🙂
You’d think that the surfing lessons would be MORE expensive for beginners because that would require the instructor to be more hands on? Hopefully your bad dinner experience was an exception not the rule in La Union🙏🏼
I think it’s because beginners are just close to shore and getting them to stand up, ours was far out, big waves and teaching us to steer 🙏🏼 and yes everywhere else we ate was delicious 😋
I hope Czar will talk in Tagalog since he has a Filipino roots at the same time her girlfriend will learn the language. Most of the foreign vloggers are trying to learn Tagalog since most of your subscribers are Filipinos.
Czar is fluent and I am learning 🙏🏼 czar always speaks to the locals In tagalog as well 😊 vlogs will remain in English as we want to promote and share Philippines destinations to a worldwide audience 🙏🏼 there is often tagalog scenes in the vlogs though 😊 and there will be the odd tagalog video in the future potentially 😊
They mainly use English for wider reach. They have friends in the UK which are obviously british. They have other followers from other countries aside from Filipinos. Re: foreigners trying to learn tagalog. It's normal for everyone to try other languages especially if you are currently or will visit that specific country. Let us not normalize na pag Filipino kailangan magtagalog. It's their thing and let them be. Just to share: I don't know if you came across of Francis Candiyey's vlog. He's a Filipino and has a lotnof India vlogs but speaks Tagalog most of the times in his vlogs. And all of a sudden he tried to use English in some of his vlogs and even put subtitles as he's not comfortable. Reason: Because there are other viewers/audiences aside from Filipinos, commenting and requesting that they can't understand him. As per Zoe, you may wanna visit some of their old vlogs they have a few videos where they speak Tagalog. You'll love the wedding cideo where they were invited. And I think Czar speak bisaua in some videos too. P.S. I know my English is not perfect. 😉
Yeah we realised the next day 😩 when you first arrive somewhere you don’t know prices and you don’t know how far etc but next day we realised it’s only around 50 - 60’pesos

Yeah we can’t believe we got it wrong, we even asked a local if we were saying it right and he said yes 😩😂
The name of the place is La Union pronounced as Onion.
Yesss we know now thank you 😊
I have lived in both San Fernando and Baguio and Baguio is so much better for food there are hundreds of independent restaurants in Baguio 😊
I think the food was good in both places except that one restaurant in La union ahaha! Glad you’ve experienced both places 😊🙏🏼
Hope you can go to immuki island just a 30minutes drive from san juan, also try to dine-in at masa cafe there and at sunset bay. Enjoy guys
Never heard of that before thank you for suggesting we will add it to the list 🙏🏼

We will add it to the list 🙏🏼 hope to visit
I agree 100% with your comments about Kabsat and their food and that it isn't worth it. I share the same sentiments
I’m sorry you had a similar experience! Maybe it’s because it’s so busy 🤷🏼♀️hopefully they can improve

Yes it was a normal bus we knew it would add some time on but we expected maybe 30 - 45 mins but it was more like 2 hours extra ahaha
