Hi Clint. Pyro is a great waveboard.but not very stable if you land flat with 90 kg ;-)... mine got damaged 7 times in 3 years. i bought a heavy duty flikka as my smaller board, hang loose.
Thanks Ariel, glad that you like the video's. Spring and autum are normaly the best in Holland. My video do paint a better than life picture of our conditions. the bad wave days don't make the edits 😉
It was very very nice. You use a lot of cameras besides 360 video. The jumping scene and the surfing scene from the front were especially good. How do you shoot the front scene? I am also taking a video of windsurfing, so I will refer to it. I will subscribe to the channel.
Hi Briskbreeze, i didn't answer youre question i see. the front view i shoot with a smal extension 10cm just above my boom on the mast. gopro max does the rest 😉
Cool video, and awesome looking board. May I ask how much you weight ? And what sail size you use in the video ? Does the board float you good in light winds ?
Hi Nawoma, i love the board and the design. my weight is 90kg. the 93liter pyro is not really floaty for me. when the wind drops i stand to my knees in the water. my lightwind board is a 102 liter tabou pocket wave. sailsize is 5.7m.
@@marclovessurfing5155 thanks a lot for the reply, as I said, very cool video. I guess at 75 kgs I’ll be fine with the 87 for sails 4.2 to 5.3 in Euro conditions, the 83 is out of stock anyway…
@@Nawona 87 will be a perfect floaty board for you. with 4.2 it will be a bit big but perfect for the lighter wind days. It's fast and it turns like crazy in the waves!
Another great video Marc. Cool. 👍🤘 I’ve also taken shots of sailors zooming past me in the opposite direction, then using the editing software to follow them and keep them in shot as you did at 2:54. But in mine the movement became jerky. I was using 30 FPS but next time will use 60FPS. Is that what you use?
hi Phil, thanks, was fun making and editing! for 360 i believe 30fps is the max. oldskool heroshots max 60. To make it smooth i mark the first edit frame 1 second before the other sailor passes me and the second editframe 1 second passed. less frameshots is more! this way the camera rotation stays smooth. hang Loose mate
@@marclovessurfing5155 Thanks Marc, Yes I edited it the same way. So you’re using 30FPS. So I went back and re-exported some of my clips from GoPro player, and found Cineform +1080p export setting options cured the juddering. Previously I was using H264. So problem solved. In GoPro 360 settings the FPS options are quite limited. You can get 60FPS, but only at 3K. At 5.6K you’re limited to 30 or 24 FPS. That looks like a great beach & venue. Windsurfing isn’t one of the distractions usually associated with Amsterdam.😀
...beautiful. makes me wanna go windsurf!!!
Very chill. I love the pyro. I hope I can buy one anytime soon.

Daddy, thank you for the stylisch Video. Your rides are radical!
Fantastic shots. The Severne Pyro has the nicest graphics seen on a board in a while. 🤙
Thanks Reid. looks goot and sails even better :-)
Looks cold on the lake in Illinois. Still windy too!!! Ride on!

ziet er goed uit! Bevalt de pyro 93L?
Hi Don, first impression is good. it pushes my limit. more compared to my old tabou pocket wave. only had two testdays sofar.
more reactive i meant to say
Moeilijk aan te komen die Pyro :P waar heb jij m gescored?
