It's something to be careful about if you're using Suno yourself, to make sure there's *no* noise in the original clip if you're planning on generating continuations.

It's basically just recreating complex variations of what it already knows. Music is full of patterns, and generative AI is tremendously good at identifying and recreating patterns. Absolutely fascinating for sure, but there are clear limitations. (Interestingly it's not that much different with actual humans. Even most professional songwriters and producers create just variations of something already existing. Creativity in the sense of "able to create something truly new" is extremely rare.)
