Glad you've sorted the roof out mate, I would have gone down the baytril route myself as well personally, Others things to keep an eye on are vermin, cleanliness and. Moisture, I'd give them a scrape then brush the loft with a disinfectant also bleach your drinkers and disinfect your feeders too, Then get plenty of vitamins and minerals back into their bodies
Sorry to hear ... you know what to do clean clean clean even use a 10% of bleach in water sprayed around once you have cleaned up works as well and its cheap.. ... you look fed up to be honest ... 4 in 1 harkers is great to use ... as the others have said get in touch with your club ...
Put a piece of garlic in the water or piece down each throat this will help them alot i mind pegions for 20 years and the tiger 1 is sick from that water in the loft hopefully he gets back better
@@WinfortLofts when the loft leaked the birds got sick from that wet loft so some garlic in there water will help dem get better or hold 1 by 1 and gave them a small piece each look it up bro
Get them tested. It's the only way to know for sure what's happening. If it is salmonella, I cannot stress enough how important it is to clean and spray all surfaces with Virkon S or equivalent. It is shed in the droppings and picked up by others that way. Every day for the 14 days of treatment and then in the 14 days before vaccination. I heard you say you've been unable to scrape because of work. My advice is to try and find a way to do it mate.
@@WinfortLofts 13 quid to potentially stop your pigeons from dying will be less than multiple doses of meds given as you try to get on top of an unknown illness.
Keep moving forward my friend and I really hope that everything will get resolved quickly , hope that black pied grizzle gets better too . 👍

can you get some advice from your pigeon racing club fanciers they maybe can help or advise you.

I think that's salmonella get them injected asap other wise u never stop it
I always inject mine for it now
@@chriswilliams1639 I'm led to believe if you inject the ones that are carrying it, they'll die. Must clear them of it first.
Testing is of course always best, just that on the run up to Xmas, I'm short of the funds for it unfortunately! 😭

It too cold and going to get colder, why do you want to rush into breeding for?
Not in a rush per se, just want to have them ready!
We usually pair up between Xmas day, and the Blackpool show!
@@WinfortLofts sorry to say it but the way they are looking it’s not good.
In your opinion... Would it be a total loss?
@@WinfortLofts yes get rid of that one . Clean the floor every day. And remove the dropping don't leave them in the corner.
There not fit and healthy enough to mate yet give them a few weeks on vitamins and electrolytes and lots of barley till they stop eating
Thanks for the advice! I've started to put hopper down currently so they can eat what they want!
Seems to be working well so far!!
Don’t put that bird in the house. Put it in the bin.
It's my daughter's favourite, it's never been a racer, only a looker!
