I just came across this I know this story too well. I want to thank you for posting the story of Rickie Blake. She was my good friend when this happened. We both lived across the street from our elementary school. I must have spent the night at their house a dozen times they were such a nice family. This has haunted me for 17 years. I truly believe that he prayed on children at the skate rink I remember clearly when we would innocently hang out there on weekends. Our favorite thing to do was play tether ball in the school playground then walk to the store to buy Doritos and Dr. Pepper. I remember the phone calls. This was a safe neighborhood across from a school! The most disgusting part is the shame that the court system has brought on all involved. All these crimes should be brought to light on whomever granted his releases and the defense lawyers that said it was consensual sex should serve along with him. To lie like that just confirms our courts are completely a joke, even more now it’s just a big game within the county courthouses. Our jail system is even more criminal. You can’t understand how completely criminal the “system” is until you have a personal connection with it. I’ve learned our constitutional rights mean nothing when it comes to the courts and what goes on.
Anyway thank you for posting this it was really personal and I still miss her laugh. I’ll see her again someday 🦋

It’s not victim blaming, its criminal defense. It’s the lawyer’s job to zealously defend his/her client without regard for anyone’s feelings except their those of their client. Blaming defense lawyers for doing their job does damage to our justice system. Without defense attorneys there would be no justice, they are just as much a part of the justice system as prosecutors. Without defense attorneys there would be not justice. Save your hatred and anger for the people who commit horrible crimes, not for the legal professionals who work the ensuing cases. Most criminal lawyers will end up working “both sides of the ball” in their careers. Rarely does a lawyer solely prosecute/defend for their entire career. I grow so tired of the anger and hate that lawyers, criminal defense in particular, receive from the public.

Random different men showing up just trying to get her to open the door? Top secret clearance? Perhaps Kamika stumbled across something that she wasn’t meant to see?
Can’t UPS find out whether the suspect was searching certain names or addresses?

Yes, I agree. They were constantly trying to get her to open her door. Man, and then she called the FBI and they confirmed that they weren't agents. I would've been extra cautious. Like totally refusing to be alone and maybe having an officer escort me in my apartment and inspect the inside also before going in.. Maybe she was a professional gang stalking perp and decided that she didn't want to do it anymore. So they silenced her before she could expose the program. It's a modern-day Holocaust. Slow death. Slow kill of the undesirables of society. They're after me too. It's good if she died resisting a great evil. She and the guy who was assassinated at the stoplight.

I had that exact same job at UPS in Canada. You do searches thousands of times a day sometimes you have to look up the same person or company repeatedly so there’s really no way to pick out suspicious searches as sometimes packages are delivered to the wrong address. For a week straight I kept getting the same package back (which happens regularly). I literally had to write in permanent marker on every side of the box for them to actually look at the damn address and see the city was in a different country. It kept coming back as address not found because many places across the world have the same city name but the geniuses assumed it was local every time. I had to physically walk over and tell them to actually pay attention and read the damn label. I tracked the package constantly until it actually left the country and arrived at its intended destination. They paid for express shipping but was delayed cause of idiot coworkers. Any other company would be suspicious of the number of times we searched the same ppl and companies who didn’t have updated addresses. We had to call some ppl repeatedly. To the untrained eye most of our work looks suspicious and obsessive.

I had a stalker in the summer of 2015. My live in boyfriend was a cop and this guy still wouldn't leave me alone. Between my car and my boyfriend's we had 4 flat tires in the span of 2 months. I don't think that was a coincidence. We were in the process of moving to a different town anyway and I haven't seen him since. I don't know how it might have escalated otherwise. If we had stayed I probably would have set up security cameras with night vision. I never left my house without a good sharp pocketknife that whole time, I even started the process of getting a concealed carry permit.

What was so weird about it was I worked night shift and was maybe home 10 minutes when I heard the knock on the door, he did briefly show me his ID and gave me his card with all info on it. He must have been watching my Ex and me as he asked me so many questions about our lives, even had a lot of info about one of his friends that wasn't a good person, when he enlisted he stopped hanging with that guy. This is one of the reasons I am armed at all times. Whenever you're returning home especially if it's dark, always enter your home alert that the possibility of a intruder may be there . This may mean the difference between life and death. You should never have to worry about shit like this. It's the world we live in. I'm aware not everyone is comfortable around fire arms, that's understandable but always have a plan for situations like this.

Ill never understand how someone like George Williams committed those heinous crimes and yet was let out every few years to strike again, and we have innocent people serving life on death row or are incarcerated for 15 plus years for possessing drugs. Which isn’t okay either, but damn how did he get out? Those poor victims :( thank you for keeping their stories alive!

I'm right there with u. It absolutely disgusts me that ppl can hurt n molest children and get less time than some1 who just has some drugs on them. I say the same exact thing all the time like u just did.
I mean I know drugs fuck ppl up, but ppl have been doing drugs almost since the beginning of time. It's never gonna stop, but ppl hurting kids should be stopped, and it's pathetic that we have a justice system where a guy/girl gets less time for assaulting a child than the person who has a problem with drugs and gets caught with them.

Case #3 seems to me to have been preventable on some many levels. First, how many people does someone like Williams have to abuse before they are put away for good? The justice system is a joke! Also, I think Ricky knew George because how else would he know her birthday and her favourite song? They must have talked on the phone more than once. Also the older sister allowing her younger sister to talk to him was a mistake. As Ricky's friend said, someone his age shouldn't be calling someone of Ricky's age. I don't understand how the police were unable to trace the caller, after Ricky's death, when he called on her birthday every year for 10 years!

Ive been stalked before. It lasted for 4yrs and the police literally did absolutely nothing to help for yrs. The scariest 4yrs of my life. Thankfully after the crazy asshole showed up at my wrk and left without beimg caught by police someone called police on him a day after bc he was running around my old apartment complex acting strange. Long story short the police shot him and killed him bc he acted like he had a weapon.. If they hadnt killed him. He would have 100% killed me. It was a blessing. Finally i feel like i can enjoy life now. Stalking isnt looked at as serious of a crime as it definitely should be...

kanika seemed to be such a beautiful, smart woman. the way she dealt with what happened before her murder was so smart, which is scary to think that no matter how intelligent you are this can still happen. people are nuts. i feel so much guilt for her. i wish things were different for her. i hope her murderer is found and she can get the justice she deserves. i am happy she spoke to those near her about the matter, and that even though she went through something terrifying she still wanted to protect those around her from it. i hope she rests in peace.

Only a couple of weeks after I signed up for Facebook, I started being stalked. He knew my name, phone number, birthday, & other details including that I was living alone. I quit Facebook immediately (not that the info EVER really goes away), & stopped answering the phone if I didn't recognize the number. I keep loaded guns by the (always locked) doors, & another (with laser sighting) by my bed. My doors all have peepholes, so I won't open the door to anyone I don't recognize. There is little more frightening than dealing with a stalker.
