Interesting fact: Rammstein became the first band to be allowed to shoot a video at the Paris Opera (the building is 160 years old). Moreover, they were allowed to use practical effects. This says a lot about their reputation and professionalism
A lot of rock and metal bands drive themselves into a rut and eventually become predictable. Rammstein on the other hand continue to develop and push the boundaries with their innovative music and stunning videos. There is little or no chance of this band ever being accused of being predictable. For me, they are the finest industrial metal band by a country mile. Sabina..this is one of those videos when you just wonder..’omg, what’s coming next?’ An almost hypnotic response to the audio and visual…loved it.
@@sabina1118 Yes... totally agree. I have the same with the band Kensington from Holland. Unfortunately the lead singer Eloi stops. Such an amazing voice that guy has. Sorry is one of their main hits. Uncharted is also a very good one if you want to check them out. St. Helena in the Amsterdam Arena is something else.
I’ve been lucky enough to be a fan since I saw the debut of the Du Hast video and they just keep getting better. They evolve in ways that don’t seem contrived or fake and somehow genuinely continue to push the envelope. It’s genuinely astounding.
Yeah, I disagree. I like it more when they pause and say what they feel right away because it feels more genuine. If it is written afterwards it feels fake (to me, at least) and not under the emotion of actually watching this, but after you process it, etc. If I wanna watch the video without interruption, I'd go and watch the official video, I go to see a reaction to see how someone reacts to it, so there is that. Not hating though, just sayin' that I disagree.
The most common interpretation is that the band kills its past ("Mutter" and before), frees itself from the musical chains from their older times. They don't want to be clones doomed to repeat themselves - one needs to evolve to grow. The outro shows what happen if you don't succeed ...
They wanted to kill their old Rammstein (the clones), which fans keep asking for (the damned in the underworld pulling on the chains). Then they would be free again (ascension to heaven). But they failed, they didn't even make it through the vault door. All we saw before that was just the visualization of their plan.
Don't worry, they aren't going anywhere ♥ From what most of people say, they are saying goodbye to their old themselves - old songs, old style. "Old" Rammstein will not come back, they have matured through the years of their career. Thank you for this reaction, loved it as always! ☺ Hope to see your reaction to their best concert opener ever - "Rammlied" from Madison Square Garden. If you search for "Rammlied 4K", you will get the full opening act, which is really outstanding! 😎 Enjoy and have a fantastic evening! 😄
@@sabina1118 They may not be leaving now, but they are in their late 50s. They will soon reach retirement age. How much longer will they be on stage with this show?
@@Mischnikvideos actually not all of them are in thier late 50s...Till Lindemann just turned 60 and oliver Riedel the baby of the band is just 51 yrs old 🙂❤️
I love Rammstein Videos, but this song stands for its own... Every time i listen to it, I have to sing as loud as i can, and every single time i cry, because i see pictures of my own funeral and this song fills the room with all my friends and family. They say Adieu, my soul says Adieu, but not forever. One day we are all together again...
all rammstein vids are like movies. they never fail, always awesome. nothing will beat seeing them live. saw them live back in sept, best show ive ever been to. long time fan since 1998.
They kill their clones and break free from chains, the end sequence is not "the end", it's an alternative end. Like: they WOULD be dead if they were not breaking free. Many little reminders of old Rammstein songs and albums. The name at the safe house, the abbreviation on the license plate of the truck. And so on. And the piano in the end is "Zeit", another beautiful detail. Amazing reaction as always!
Yes, they used the laser beam already in their video 'Deutschland' and the wonderful place 'Adieu' has been made is one of the most famous opera houses in Europe, the Garnier Opera in Paris
Excellent reaction! I got to know you through the reactions you made of the rammstein, I loved it! And Till Lindemann (rammstein vocalist), also has other songs outside the band Rammstein. And there's one that the title is "Home sweet home", this song, for me is so, so incredible and an extremely strong message... the song talks about what he went through with his father's illness.... I would love to see your reaction to this song. A kiss from Portugal and keep up the good work!❤
Thanks for yr interesting interpretation of this enormous video. I'm 70 years old. I never saw a band like Rammstein. They are awesome in all aspects of music and performance. They mix all the arts in a supreme art. I suppose they don't want to finish. And another things very very important: they are exploring new ways of music, never forgetting their ancient musics and maintaining their life prisma: always being young in spirit, with tremendous quality.
it took you some sweet time to react to this, but i am glad you did. I love how you comment by text, without actually stopping the video. Very nice! thanks...
Thank you for this very emotional and wonderful reaction. You understand Rammstein, but be shure, that there will be more wonderful music of them in the next years. Love you too.
Hi Sabina...as always you don't disppoint, how great it is to watch a video together with you and share the "goosebumps-moments", thank you so much! The Laser is from the "Deutschland"-Video, it's the same Director here (Specter Berlin)... And as I see it: Specter Berlin was influenced by the movie "Immortals" here; not the whole thing, but in the last sequences of the Video (what's by far not negative, I love that film!). Have a great weekend, bye... :)
I love how you enjoy Rammstein and trying to unravel the deeper meanings of those scenes in their videos. I have to admit, when i saw them the first time (i´m german), i had the strange feeling, they would be one of those far right music groups and placed them into the completely wrong box, in my head. Especially the videos and appearances of the characters, reminded me to old Leni Riefenstahl camera style, the rolling "R" and the forced clear german pronouncing only multiplied my feelings, way back. But later on, i realized the messages and the shock-effect, they want to trigger in us. Nowadays, they are just outstanding artists and performers to me, i enjoy almost all songs and in some way, they are so unique, that they reach a global audience, while singing straight german. It´s impressive and they willl be remembered for their work of art, not as metal or rock band - combining so powerful lyrics and composing with mind blowing pictures is hard work and needs an outstanding team behind the scenes. I hope there is way more to come, in the future^^
So i just spent 1 hour watching your Rammstein reviews and i must say i love them so much ;) if i can recommend 1 song for you to react too. it would 1000% have to be "Spring" Great channel great content and keep it up Sabina ;)
This was in a large part saying goodbye to friends and family. But probably usable in a broader sense like reinventing yourself etc If you saw Clash of the titans (i think) you'll recognise where they got the mountain scenes. Pretty cool. The production is just insane :)
Your reaction is wonderful. It would be so tempting to just put Rammsteins work in one of the boxes for german music, but they actually contain poetry comparable with the tradition of Herman Hesse, Frans Kafka, Heinrich Böll and others, and this resonates really in your reaction. Kudos!
I see you have not reacted to their "Rosenrot". ua-cam.com/video/af59U2BRRAU/v-deo.html&ab_channel=RammsteinOfficial Tror verkligen du skulle uppskatta den
As Mozart or Brahms, or Handel, Bach, you name it...... German music, Kein problem..... all authentic..... unique by the way love that deep look in your eyes.... grettings Sabina
The best interpretation I've seen so far says that they try to wipe themselves out of existence, but don't succeed. The band members, resembling their "Ich Will" characters, storm the place where their replicas/clones are kept (reference most likely to "Mutter", the vault also suggests that). At first, it seems that their plan is going to work, they light themselves and their clones on fire. They end up in a "purgatory", locked inside a cell, surrounded by other people, most likely fans. These people hold them back and don't want to let them ascend into, let's say, "eternity". In the end, they manage to break their chains and ascend, but only together with their fans, but in the end, we see that the "Ich Will" characters are lying dead on the ground, suggesting that their plan failed. They didn't manage to free themselves, they didn't manage to retire, so they're here to stay and they're here to stay as long as their fans hold on to them. Once again... Rammstein doesn't let us down.
@@sabina1118 I am glad that you do and you're very welcome! By the way, I had the pleasure of seeing them live in September, here in NJ at MetLife stadium and it's the greatest experience you can ever have, which is why I recommend for you to go to their concert one day! 🖤🤘
They wanted to kill their old Rammstein (the clones), which fans keep asking for (the damned in the underworld pulling on the chains). Then they would be free again (ascension to heaven). A part of the Rammstein clip is based on the movie Immortals, a great Rammstein song with a great meaning as mentioned - Nur der Tod währt alle Zeit - "Only death lasts forever"
Some help for you from a website: guitarist Paul Landers has gone on record confirming that they don’t plan on ending things any time soon. Tracks “Zeit” and “Adieu” in particular were never intended as a goodbye to the fans, instead being written about loved ones they have lost.
What you saw was them leaving the past behind. After Mutter they almost called it quits but they forged on and carved a place for them selves with their unpredictability as musicians and their immense talents. Besides that the video takes inspo from various movies like batman, immortals , Matrix and others.
I've seen and heard this so many times and i still get emotional.. in the beginning i would just be full blown crying 😭 and then I would get teary eyed 😢 and now I still get teary eyed but mostly emotional 🥺 Such a deep, beautiful, powerful and sad song ☹️
Piano piece during the credits is "Zeit". -edited- As Andre in a reaction rightfully corrected me i was thinking of the Deutschland in the premiere countdown while typing.-- You allready got the Red thread laser pointing that way. (During the countdown for the release of this video the background was Earth with the red laser shooting into space and a glass coffin floating above Earth). You need to watch this video over and over again to catch all the call backs to their previous works and there are alot of them. As for the meaning of the video they tried to kill their clones inside the production company(guards arm patches say "Universal Music") but died trying so they keep on going. Adieu is the last track on the Zeit album which itself is a journey though life the band takes you on. Starting with Armee der Tristen: "Come join us we'll be sad together" and ending with a song about dying. The first line of the song "Nur der Tod währt alle Zeit" (Only death is eternal) is a direct menton of the Time that was the red thread through this album. Anyway thats my interpretation of the song atleast. So i dont think they be going anywhere soon since i have a feeling their eventual retirement would not be without a big bang.
@@andrestein7797 you are right my friend, and i bloody even knew that, my brain is a bit of a haze due to sickness. But I should have re-read it and found my own mistake.
There is a great deal of symbolism throughout this extraordinary video. if you look at the ending credits, you'll notice that the extras are called "The Damned". Have a look at the painting "the Fall of the Damned" by Peter Paul Rubens. The scene in which Rammstein are firing guns while they're in the air is likely a visual reference to that painting. There's a lot going on in this video but I believe that this reference fits their intent.
This is pure art ❤️ when I first saw this I was crying so much that I really didn't concentrate too much on the details of the video but then i rewatched it and i noticed there are parts of other Rammstein videos in this video..I saw Mutter, Ich Will, Любимый Город (beloved town), Mein Herz Brennt, Zeit and Deutschland. I'm pretty sure there's more but that's what I noticed. They are saying goodbye to themselves or to the old Rammstein? Im not sure but I think in the video their intentions were to kill themselves and reinvent themselves to leave the old Rammstein behind and make room for the new Rammstein but in the beginning of the video you see flake on the laptop and they are right outside the big vaulted door that says Mutter and Flake is trying to get it open and you see it open and they continue to go in... but then at the very end it shows them all dead laying outside of the big Mutter door and Flakes laptop is still running which means that they never made it inside and even though they tried to kill their past selves and thier past/old Rammstein they did not succeed. I think a lot of old groups get to a point where they start to change to try and stay current because they are told that they are too old or that their style is old etc. And some bands change and bow down to the pressure and for some it works but most of the time it fails and they lose themselves and begin to fade away and I think that Rammstein had that experience but decided not to change or comply with the external pressure of people telling them to change...to me it shows that whatever they decide to do or whatever they decide to change it's because they themselves wanted to make the changes and not because of being pressured by society. Only Rammstein themselves will decide when and how to say goodbye....
Don't worry, they've said in interviews that it was not the end for them, they're touring in Europe this year, you should go and see them live for real! I saw them live last year in Montreal for the first time, it was amazing!
Had seen them in Berlin in the mid 00's and it was bucket list stuff. Their shows have developed massively since then and I'm seeing them in July in Paris. Due to the amount of pyro in their shows, they're not allowed to perform live here in Ireland. I need to travel to see them. I could have gone to Belfast to see them, but where would you rather travel?
@@Backpfeifengesicht45 if I was in Europe, I would go to Brussels as I'm Belgian, but Paris seems to be a good plan too! Otherwise maybe in Germany like in Berlin to really feel the excitement of the audience :)
Thankfully, they weren't saying goodbye to music. They were starting to feel shackled, imprisoned by their previous success, so this is them saying goodbye to their past.
It's not often you can say a heavy metal band create 'art'. Rammstein does so every single time whether it's the chilling darkness of 'Deutchland' or the delightful silliness of 'Dicke Titten'. What an absolutely incredible band.
There is also a one-minute countdown video that was shown at the premiere of the video, which transitions directly from the last scene of the Deutschland video. If you like, you can watch it on my channel.
👍 I've read about a couple of interviews where members of Rammstein said that they don't want to stop making musik in this group. Another thing I've read was that their whole album "Zeit" was made under the impression of losses of loved persons. So "Adieu" (the lyrics) for me is about the feeling of helplessness and the final acceptance that at some point there is no way to prevent the loss of loved ones. Also the other songs - even those that are catchy / funny - are about time that is running out and goals that can no longer be met.
really enjoying your reactions, great as always! Can you do one for Rammlied live at Madison square garden? If there was ever an opening song for a concert, it's gotta be this one 😉
😔GOODBYE😕 Only death lasts forever He whispers under the pine branch Must draw everything into its darkness Even the sun will burn out But don't worry, we are with you One last time, so we sing Goodbye, goodbye, see you again You have to go the last way alone One last song, one last kiss No miracle will happen Goodbye, goodbye, see you again The time with you was beautiful From life you rise quietly The soul goes on a quiet journey Flesh perishes, spirit will rise Being will surrender to death Yes In the end you are all alone But we will be with you Goodbye, goodbye, see you again You have to go the last way alone One last song, one last kiss No miracle will happen Goodbye, goodbye, see you again The time with you was beautiful Everyone dies alone All alone But you will always be with us Goodbye, goodbye, see you again You have to go the last way alone One last song, one last kiss No miracle will happen Goodbye, goodbye, see you again The time with you was beautiful
My favorite little detail is what "Doktor" is doing in the van right at the beginning. I had to ask others if I saw that right. They are geniuses and music is only one facet of the diamond.
I like your reactions very much! My favorite song from Rammstein is Seemann (very old song). I would like if you react to this. And there is a great cover from Apocalyptica feat. Nina Hagen (the godmother of punk!). You should take a look at both...
The creators of the video need to be making our movies now. I am tired of the same creatives teams in modern cinema. The red laser was an element in the Deutschland video. BTW, I liked the onscreen commentary while you let the video play through with great commentary afterwards. That is a huge improvement in your videos. Always informative.
Not to worry. This was not the end of Rammstein. They start their 2024 Stadium Tour in Dresden, Germany, on 15th May. Rejoice! And their creativity has not ended either as you will see.
The laser comes from "Deutschland" (when begin the "history of Germania", at Romans time) The video has several elements from other videos of Rammstein (as the helmets with spikes)
I think of this vid as the erasure of the idealisation (the dance around the golden calf) of people. This often leads to destruction. They are ready to give their own lives for it. My current favourite is "Spring". Another Masterpiece.....
That's a really good idea to show your thoughts on the video as subtitles. It's always so annoying when music videos are always paused to comment. A good example is David Gilmore's guitar solo on Comfortly Numb on the Pulse Tour. Many reactors actually manage to interrupt this incredible solo over and over again, which is almost like a crime. One of them, who calls herself a classical musician, stops the video of Qeen's Bohemyan Rapsodie every 15-20sec to get lost in trivia and endlessly fabulate about some notes, text phrases, sound sequences, etc. There I had to stop after a few minutes and left her a comment that you probably would not have to explain to a classical musician that you first make an impression about the overall work before you go into the subtleties.
even if it is the last song of Rammstein what a song & video to go out on, I hope (& it wouldn't surprise me) they come back in the future, think of the money they would/will make, but as I believe that if you love something that is even more reason to let it go
Amazing. Not sure if it's intentional, but in their ending credits, they seem to have worked with *totally* different roster of creative teams, studios, and production houses for each of their last few videos. I wouldn't be surprised if Rammstein is spreading the work around in the German creative community? Interesting...
Hi Sabine, you saw the lazar in Deutshland. I personally don't know what it represents. I hope Rammstein are not finishing. They are really starting to hit their straps. Thankyou Sabine.
For your information : It was filmed, in part, in the french opéra Garnier in Paris. You saw the Red light in "Deutschland". And no they won't leave ! 😉
Rammstein has to be seen live, because they are a weapon there and the incredible crowd control is a trademark of them and no matter in which country they play, the audience sings in German like in Paris - ua-cam.com/video/U5HAEzEk8QM/v-deo.html .🆒 The action with the fireworks did not even take place in a stadium but in a hall ( Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy) and would be unthinkable in e.g. America due to their immense safety regulations. If they go on tour there, the fans will miss a lot and will never get to see many really wicked effects! By the way Til does this specific move, called "Til Hammer" cause he had dislocated his knee before a concert and repeatedly hit it in the backstage area to bring it back in. The other band members found this movement totally cool so that he he adopted it for the stage ! Apart from the fact that Til is a trained pyrotechnician, at Rammstein concerts a special stage worker is very close to the stage and is connected by a microphone to the person who controls the fire. He feels the temperature on his cheek and gives corresponding instructions whether you can still step it up a notch or the flames have to be reduced. Another pure madness with with the audience - ua-cam.com/video/fAaIFUXj4-8/v-deo.html At another concert Til greets his band members, who are carried back to the main stage in a rubber dinghy with a "Welcome - Sign". A political statement for the refugees who have drowned by the thousands in the Mediterranean Sea. Please look at the live performance of "Ich will" - ua-cam.com/video/zO2t3KQMPPY/v-deo.html - (with subtitles) "Rock am Ring" is one of the biggest festival events in Germany. The Ring, which we say, is the legendary Formula 1 race track "Nürburgring"(The green hell), located in the middle of a central mountain of Germany, the "Volcano - Eifel". Rammstein was the Headliner and there are more than 85000 fans on the target line and I was right in the middle 😜 and not only the few thousand hardcore fans directly in front of the stage answer Til's questions, but actually the entire audience down to the last row and to have been there and to feel the concentrated energy of the audience was just indescribable ! At some point Ramstein discovered that you can make up with instant coffee. According to concentration, black to red spots appear, which looks like dirt or blood. Flake was hyper nervous all the time during an earlier tour. What did he forget ? That he was made up with lots of coffee in the evening during every concert - Maybe the reason why he needs a treadmill 😉 ? But without Flake Rammstein would never have been what they are. Again and again he is only moved into the nerd corner and underestimated enormously. What most people remember is only the treadmill he is running on while playing. Most of the Rammstein pieces are backed by a mostly inconspicuous but sometimes bombastically symphonic sound body combined with techno elements and so much more. It´s done so cleverly that it is hardly noticeable in the foreground. But if you take it out of the equation and mix it away at the mixer console, the rest sounds almost like any metal band. Together with the typical Rammstein monster guitar riffs the keyboards in the background fill up the entire sound, make things round, and not at least because of this Rammstein sounds so unique ! Please check it out - ua-cam.com/video/IjGNTqAW58E/v-deo.html - ua-cam.com/video/jRxW5Vzeo0A/v-deo.html (here you can see Til flying) Exactly this concert in Germany took place about 20 km from where I lived and you could still hear it over a hill in between and see the light show flickering in the distance. You could clearly experience the sound level at which Rammstein are traveling 💥🤯 This melodic sound together with the unbelieveble power that Rammstein brings over is also to be seen here - ua-cam.com/video/Uq41Fmw5CGI/v-deo.html ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE, this performance was nominated for the Grammy 👍 - ua-cam.com/video/qFpjMNKxsnA/v-deo.html - The song is based on a true story that happened in Germany. A cannibale looked for someone on the Internet who could be eaten by him and also found someone. Just google "The Rothenburg Cannibal". TOTALLY WHACKY. Richard Kruspe tells the story in an interview on the DVD "In Amerika" released in 2015. First the police arrested Paul Landers off the stage and then one by one, the sound became thinner and thinner as the other band members were arrestet and at some point he put his guitar down and turned himself to the cops. For Rammstein, who had come together in the former GDR, the left dictatorial eastern part of divided Germany, America was in their imagination the "land of unlimited possibilities" in which you can do pretty much anything. After a night in jail they know that it was a really stupid idea to perform anything like that in a big city in the "Bible Belt" - ua-cam.com/video/pRXkDYTSAj4/v-deo.html - 😱😉 In Germany, this kind of thing doesn't upset (almost) anyone anymore - we're a little more relaxed there. One of the best titles by Rammstein but not as well known is Donaukinder" - ua-cam.com/video/Oi-ixUoWAOU/v-deo.html - it´s underpinned by Franzisco Navarro with scenes from the film "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas". But be careful, because for those who have even dealt with the Holocaust a little, this is really hard stuff ! At first I was interested, then banned, then horrified and then there were only tears. As a German with a left-wing liberal background, I would have to hate the camp commandant, but otherwise he is also a father. However, someone who lets the children of others gasify without scruples. But something like this had to happen, I guess, so that he finally recognizes this absolutely inhuman madness and his constant self-deception ! "Wo sind die Kinder" - "Where are the children" alludes to the fact that in German death camps, women and children were gassed first so that no more Jews could grow up or be born. "Keiner weiß, was hier geschehen, keiner hat etwas gesehen" means "Nobody knows what happened here, nobody saw anything" refers to the fact that very few Germans wanted to have known about the concentration camps, which of course was complete nonsense. For example, thousands of apartments were suddenly vacant because the Jewish residents had been deported during the night. The very next day, "Aryan" Germans, mostly belonging to the party cadre, moved in. Then hundreds of civilian German guards were employed in the death camps, who were even proud of their "work" and bragged about it to their acquaintances and friends. I could give many more examples, which prove that it was total bullshit, when it was claimed not to have seen anything and not to know what was happening there. Rammstein pieces are pure energy and if one can keep his butt still while listening, you should see a doctor as soon as possible 🤣
If they quit, I'll be sad, at the same time if this was their last song, I would be satisfied. Because this would be way they'll go out. A proper send off song.
The outro shows that they didn't even make it to the room. The video was the plan. The actual "heist" isn't shown. The outro shows the actual outcome. The same design team did "Deutschland" and we can see the same laser beam. In "Deutschland" I think the laser beams were symbols for scanning the German past from outside or today or from the future. When several laser beams appeared in the scenes of Nazi-Germany, the scene started to fall apart. In my opinion, the angled lasers symbolized people trying to look at the past from different angles, trying to find meaning, sense or reasoning in the past, which would try to alter the scene you're looking at, destroying it. Keeping that in mind, the laser here would also represent a look back down, some sort of "scanning" their past from the future. Regarding the clones, it feels like some authority is keeping them alive, perhaps replacing "used" band members with new ones, or they are held hostage. The original band tries to stop either the process of being "rebuild" or the blackmailing. If the authority were against them, the clones would be dead, I guess. So maybe it's about them fighting a slightly falsely represented version or past of them.
BTW, the laser beam is from Deutschland, as was seen during the countdown video preceeding the release of Adieu. The end theme is an introduction for Zeit. If you don't mind the French subtitles, the three vids have been stiched together here: ua-cam.com/video/3bHaigs7fV8/v-deo.html

There are lots of people reacting to music videos. But You're doing it the best way. There is no PAUSE.

❤From Vienna..we see us😉🙏
all rammstein vids are like movies. they never fail, always awesome. nothing will beat seeing them live. saw them live back in sept, best show ive ever been to. long time fan since 1998.
Sooo many great songs, videos and live performances. They are brilliant...
Loved all your reactions to rammstein so far... and i really like the format youve chosen. Thanks a lot and keep going!
Thanks!!!
Yes, they used the laser beam already in their video 'Deutschland' and the wonderful place 'Adieu' has been made is one of the most famous opera houses in Europe, the Garnier Opera in Paris
Right!! Thanks for sharing, I would love to see that place live 🤩
@@sabina1118
it's worth it in any case. Paris always has been worth being visited as well as Berlin...
A kiss from Portugal and keep up the good work!❤
I love that you don’t interrupt the video but we still can see/read what you’re experiencing
Incredible, Breathtaking, Magnificent Visual & Audio Work of Art.
You are so amazing! Thank you
love your reaction! especially because you play through the videos and don't babble in between.. thanks for that!!
Parts of this video are like a lot of scenes from the film Immortals staring Mickey Rourke, Brilliant video......... Thanks for picking this one.
it took you some sweet time to react to this, but i am glad you did.
I love how you comment by text, without actually stopping the video. Very nice! thanks...
Thank you for this very emotional and wonderful reaction. You understand Rammstein, but be shure, that there will be more wonderful music of them in the next years. Love you too.
Thank you ❤️ Lots of love!!
in the "outro, when they appear dead on the floor, the soundtrack that plays is the melody of "Zeit", another recent song by Rammstein.
2:20 : the building (not for all the footage) is the "Opéra Garnier" in Paris, one of the most beautiful opera in the world ;)
Another awesome reaction. I enjoyed it so much. Thank you!
I know how you feel and Thanks for sharing!!! More Will come 🙏🏻😁
So i just spent 1 hour watching your Rammstein reviews and i must say i love them so much ;)
if i can recommend 1 song for you to react too. it would 1000% have to be "Spring"
Great channel great content and keep it up Sabina ;)
Great Song and Video!
Great Reacton! 👍
This was in a large part saying goodbye to friends and family. But probably usable in a broader sense like reinventing yourself etc
If you saw Clash of the titans (i think) you'll recognise where they got the mountain scenes.
Kudos!
Thank you so much!! 🤗🤗
I see you have not reacted to their "Rosenrot". ua-cam.com/video/af59U2BRRAU/v-deo.html&ab_channel=RammsteinOfficial Tror verkligen du skulle uppskatta den
As Mozart or Brahms, or Handel, Bach, you name it...... German music, Kein problem..... all authentic..... unique by the way love that deep look in your eyes.... grettings Sabina
Every time i hear the piano i get goosebumps, it very reminds me of the TV series Westworld! They use the same piano notes in the intro song.
I love that interpretation!! Thanks for sharing this, and nope - they certainly do not..
But they failed, they didn't even make it through the vault door. All we saw before that was just the visualization of their plan.
I love that these guys take easter eggs . outro is Zeit. Sorry about my bad english . greetings from Germany
I love see an entire picture made by rammstein, they made a top tier quiality.
at the very end you can hear the motive of the beginning of their song "zeit"
A part of the Rammstein clip is based on the movie
Immortals, a great Rammstein song with a great meaning as mentioned - Nur der Tod währt alle Zeit - "Only death lasts forever"
Outro is from Zeit. Also brilliant!
Dude, the Piano Outro is not "Deutschland", it is a acoustic Version of "Zeit".
@@andrestein7797 you are right my friend, and i bloody even knew that, my brain is a bit of a haze due to sickness. But I should have re-read it and found my own mistake.
@@sjoerdwillemsen7946 its all good ;)
There is a great deal of symbolism throughout this extraordinary video. if you look at the ending credits, you'll notice that the extras are called "The Damned". Have a look at the painting "the Fall of the Damned" by Peter Paul Rubens. The scene in which Rammstein are firing guns while they're in the air is likely a visual reference to that painting. There's a lot going on in this video but I believe that this reference fits their intent.
Love your reaction
The creditmusic is the theme from the other song "Zeit". Most of their "pre-music"-songs are themes from their own songs. I don't know others.
This video and song is so emotional and kind of uplifting also
This is pure art ❤️ when I first saw this I was crying so much that I really didn't concentrate too much on the details of the video but then i rewatched it and i noticed there are parts of other Rammstein videos in this video..I saw Mutter, Ich Will, Любимый Город (beloved town), Mein Herz Brennt, Zeit and Deutschland.
I be really sad if this is there goodbye because this is my favorite band of all time
This is not the end, this is just the beginning.
Your strong narrative doesn't need the music. 🎉 Thx
Don't worry, they've said in interviews that it was not the end for them, they're touring in Europe this year, you should go and see them live for real! I saw them live last year in Montreal for the first time, it was amazing!
You should react to the official video of "Radio", it's amazing too!
I haven't seen it mentioned in the comments, and because you asked about the outro - that is a piano version of "zeit".
The wonderful place in the video is the Garnier Opera in Paris ✌️
ah 🤩😍 thanks!
The only music video thats ever been allowed to do there!
Now you have see them on live!. Be in a concert of Rammstein its a one thing to live and feel!.
Sabina,sweet and emotional 👍
Thankfully, they weren't saying goodbye to music. They were starting to feel shackled, imprisoned by their previous success, so this is them saying goodbye to their past.
I don't know if somebody had already repond but the building is the "Opéra Garnier et Bastille" from Paris
If you like, you can watch it on my channel.
the music at the end is their own song ZEIT, which means time....or some could say that at the end of the viceo they were beaten by time....
👍
I've read about a couple of interviews where members of Rammstein said that they don't want to stop making musik in this group.
Thanks! That’s Noted!!
😔GOODBYE😕
Only death lasts forever
He whispers under the pine branch
Must draw everything into its darkness
Even the sun will burn out
But don't worry, we are with you
One last time, so we sing
Goodbye, goodbye, see you again
You have to go the last way alone
One last song, one last kiss
No miracle will happen
Goodbye, goodbye, see you again
The time with you was beautiful
From life you rise quietly
The soul goes on a quiet journey
Flesh perishes, spirit will rise
Being will surrender to death
Yes
In the end you are all alone
But we will be with you
Goodbye, goodbye, see you again
You have to go the last way alone
One last song, one last kiss
No miracle will happen
Goodbye, goodbye, see you again
The time with you was beautiful
Everyone dies alone
All alone
But you will always be with us
Goodbye, goodbye, see you again
You have to go the last way alone
One last song, one last kiss
No miracle will happen
Goodbye, goodbye, see you again
The time with you was beautiful
My favorite little detail is what "Doktor" is doing in the van right at the beginning. I had to ask others if I saw that right. They are geniuses and music is only one facet of the diamond.
I migliori del mondo ..vi amo ragazzi❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
A favorite 😉
❤❤❤
Hello Sabina.🌹imean the Building is the Paris Opera House. Greetings from nothern Germany 🤘
The laser comes from "Deutschland" (when begin the "history of Germania", at Romans time)
The video has several elements from other videos of Rammstein (as the helmets with spikes)
I think of this vid as the erasure of the idealisation (the dance around the golden calf) of people.
This often leads to destruction. They are ready to give their own lives for it. My current favourite is "Spring".
Another Masterpiece.....
I can´t help myself. At the end of the video I always have tears in my eyes...
The outro music is a remix of their song "Zeit" ...
ahh! brilliant!!!
You should definitely see the also fantastic videos of Rammstein ...
„Radio“, „Ausländer", „Ich will“ and „Keine Lust“.
A perfect song to end the concert with. On their latest tour .
Rote Faden: A red thread = a leitmotiv in German.
I do think this is a good bye to us and I thank you RAMMSTEIN
even if it is the last song of Rammstein what a song & video to go out on, I hope (& it wouldn't surprise me) they come back in the future, think of the money they would/will make, but as I believe that if you love something that is even more reason to let it go
Rammstein ❤🔥
❤️
Like tossing a 'John Wick' movie at a neutron star and having it crammed into 9 minutes...plus a lot of German guys.
looks more like a movie
For your information :
It was filmed, in part, in the french opéra Garnier in Paris.
You saw the Red light in "Deutschland".
And no they won't leave ! 😉
Thank you for your existance
Rammstein has to be seen live, because they are a weapon there and the incredible crowd control is a trademark of them and no matter in which country they play, the audience sings in German like in Paris - ua-cam.com/video/U5HAEzEk8QM/v-deo.html .🆒
The action with the fireworks did not even take place in a stadium but in a hall ( Palais Omnisports de Paris-Bercy) and would be unthinkable in e.g.
Another pure madness with with the audience - ua-cam.com/video/fAaIFUXj4-8/v-deo.html
At another concert Til greets his band members, who are carried back to the main stage in a rubber dinghy with a "Welcome - Sign".
Please check it out - ua-cam.com/video/IjGNTqAW58E/v-deo.html - ua-cam.com/video/jRxW5Vzeo0A/v-deo.html (here you can see Til flying)
Exactly this concert in Germany took place about 20 km from where I lived and you could still hear it over a hill in between and see the light show flickering in the distance. You could clearly experience the sound level at which Rammstein are traveling 💥🤯
This melodic sound together with the unbelieveble power that Rammstein brings over is also to be seen here - ua-cam.com/video/Uq41Fmw5CGI/v-deo.html
ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE, this performance was nominated for the Grammy 👍 - ua-cam.com/video/qFpjMNKxsnA/v-deo.html - The song is based on a true story that happened in Germany.
Rammstein Ich will Live
Just a Tip
I’d be totally down to watch a full blown movie with them as the main characters
fuck yeah, a movie of RAmmstein will blew our minds
This might explain the glass coffins they did in the song Deutschlandand the red beams of light
Same director as in Deutschland (Specter Berlin). Hence the red beam.
I expect this director to go big, really big, in the future.
I don´t think they want to quit. You can buy tickets for 2023 concerts - if they´re not sold out 😀
