- New York: On India-Canada row, EAM Dr S Jaishankar says, "...We told the Canadians that this is not the Government of India's policy...If you have something specific and if you have something relevant, let us know. We are open to looking at it...The picture is not complete without the context in a way. You also have to appreciate that in the last few years, Canada actually has seen a lot of organized crime, relating to the secessionist forces, organized crime, violence and extremism. They're all very, very deeply mixed up. So in fact, we have been talking about specifics and information...We've given them a lot of information about organized crime and leadership, which operates out of Canada. There are a large number of extradition requests. There are terrorist leaders, who have been identified...Our concern is that it's really been very permissive, because of political reasons. So we have a situation where our diplomats are threatened, our consulates have been attacked...A lot of this is often justified, as saying that's how democracies work. If somebody gives me something specific, it doesn't have to be restricted to Canada. But if there's any incident which is an issue and somebody gives me something specific as a government, I would look at it..."

Glad, we have an assertive Govt and an assertive External Affairs Minister. But, our real concern is whether the present BJP Govt would manage to retain Power after 2024 General Elections which's very much Essential to carry on the good work, good governance and make the world know that ours is an assertive nation and we can't be cowed down by big nations with their Big Brother attitude.

Muslims created issues and violence and they got 2 independent state Pakistan and Bangladesh. Sikhs at the same time didn't create violence and troubles pre-1947, but were given no independent state. Where is the fairness ?

No. Indian people never took the decision on Pakistan's creation. It was done by the British who ruled India in 1947. We don't have any British rule in India after 1947. So any question of separation again can never be tolerated by Indians. If anyone wants Khalistan they can claim Lahore first which used to Punjab's capital in the British time. Why don't these Khalistani have the guts or courage to get Lahore back first from Pakistan?

If you see the Punjab map, the size of Punjab which is inside Pakistan is bigger than the size of Punjab in India. Any normal person will ask for the bigger part and will not aim for small portion. By the way i am not Indian citizen.
