Yes
Received a great piece of advice when Elvis told T.G., never forget where you came from! My father taught us the same plus added to thine self be true. Never forget!
Yes
Met TG a few years ago in Memphis at a charity event, one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. Sweet man. Such a honor to meet him, listened to him as a kid growing up, my parents listened to him.
Two GREAT person's here! Huckabee and Shepherd!
Love this channel!
Another person that Elvis helped, thanks T.G.Shepard everything we hear of Elvis besides his music keeps him alive, l reckon there's a lot of good stories about T.G as well 🙏
And that’s why we will never forget Elvis. That’s why he is the king.
@Endtimes are upon us That will never erase his accomplishments as an artist and performer! NEVER!!!! 👑👑👑👑
My mother was a Sheppard, and boy could the family all sing gospel hymns! Beautiful voices...Her father, John Sheppard, wrote some of the songs in our church hymnal. It was wonderful to hear them get together at family reunions.
Glad to see that TG has put out new COUNTRY music. I stopped listening to today's country because I Don't like RAP OR POP music of today, and COUNTRY MUSIC DIED OFF many years ago, Sadly!!!
The music has kept him truly electric and beautiful.
I always loved TG. He had some really good songs back then.
I have loved TG since I was a little girl!! So excited he has new music❤
I listen to T.G on Friday afternoons on Sirius Ch. 75, The Elvis Channel. He took over for GK (George Klein).
I grew up with Sheppard's music (I'm 44). :)
I love to hear him and his Beautiful wife sing together Kelly Lang.
They are full of talents!
T.G Shepard is a music legend! He's produced more songs background then what was credited.
Kinda looks like an older Chuck Woolery.
Grew up listening to T G Sheppard ! I remember when my mother told me he was born in Humbolt Tenn ! Thought that was great , that's where i was born !
I remember back when there was good music this stuff today could be torture.
I was never a fan of T.G Sheppard, but I remember some of his music from when I was a kid in the 80's and I liked it..I was never really a fan of country music in general, but there was some of it I did like..he was being nice when he said that country music is going in different directions, country music these days shouldn't be called country..it all sounds the same and it sounds like alot of pop music you hear on other stations..like a local country station here,I was getting a ride to a doctor's appointment and the driver was listening to one of the local country stations..all of the songs sounded the same, and a few of them sounded like pop artists that I was familiar with..I'm sitting there thinking "THIS is country? It can't be"..country needs to go back to it's roots, and with people like T.G Sheppard putting out albums hopefully it will..and I like John Schneider's music too,it actually sounds like country should 😊
You can spot a fake city boy trying to sound country every time. It's a turn off.
ONE of my favourites. was hard to find his songs on You tube.

What a great guy, yes. I got to meet him briefly while promoting a newly released album and got him to sign it and had my picture with him. Thank you Mr. Sheppard. I have taken very good care of that album and picture. I am so glad your wife supports your work and comeback, I will be looking out for the new album. Good luck.
Hi TJ! God bless you! Cannot wait to hear you!
Liked the interview. Don't remember TJ Shepherd in the 80's. I'm going to check his music out.
You're in for a treat!
I have a T G Sheppard vinyl album that I bought at a Gibson's store in West Helena, Arkansas, back in the 70's or early 80's,, that has never been opened. The title of the album is Living On the Edge. It is stored in my bookcase.

Luv William (Bill) Browder, his real name...or TG. We r from the same hometown, born & raised 4-5 blocks from each other. He is 5 years older than me. He quit school at 16 bound & determine to play in Elvis' band & succeeded to do just that. Elvis helped him a lot. In 1984 he had a concert with Ronnie Milsap in Atl & i was called at work a week or so beforehand that hed invited me & anyone i wanted to being, to his concert; backstage passes & promo party after show. We went & had a ball...was a great show...he signed an album for me i still have. Id been sending him his weekly reviews from the paper by his Producer, Buddy Killen for a long time, along with a letter. He got them & was so nice to invite me & a friend for one of best nights ever...i will always remember his kindness & hes a down home man. Friendly & charming...he had on his TCB necklace from Elvis that he wore all the time & told us many stories that night about his life. It was great. We felt like royalty. Id luv to see him again. I believe his stage name came into being from the phrase 'The German Sheppard'. Ill never forget where i came from...all the best memories. Remembrr his hits; Party Time & Loved Them Everyone...& so many more.
T. (The) G. (Great) Sheppard.
I like T.G. from back in the day and I like the hair I wish I still had my beautiful hair too from back in the day ..looks great sir😉
My favorite TG song is Party Time.
I miss men like him and their talent
Go to huckabee.tv and look on the performances section to play the song from this show, "I'm a Song." It's really a good one.
They have no clue today what REAL country music is.

Used to have a great show in Pigeon Forge. He is a great entertainer and person.

Surprised? Yes
Astounded? No
I never saw a picture the TG Sheppard with Elvis. I don't remember to read his name in the books I've read about Elvis. Can anyone help me to understand how him was part of Elvis' life?
What heck thought he was gonna sing !
Go to huckabee.tv and look on the performances section to play the song from this show, "I'm a Song." It's really a good one.
There isa clip of him singing on Huckabee.
Mike, bring TG back to sing couple of songs!
Where ya been TG??
Here for T.G. only!
Never even heard his name 🤣🤣🤣
T.G. only had 14 #1 Billboard country hits.
He’s got a pretty wig. Really!!
Astound? Really. You think what he said was astounding?
Huckabee needs to be on NBC and get rid of the racist fascist
Elvis died with a how to book about witchcraft in his hands.
EVERY SINGER CLAIMS THEY WERE BEST FRIENDS WITH ELVIS. IN TG SHEPPARDS CASE...NOT TRUE.
How would you know this?
@@ritawilliams8686 because I have been studying all things ELVIS for the last 40 years.
@@dean7045 so what. I have sixty yrs in and ya don't give guns as gifts to strangers.
@@ritawilliams8686 they dont
He was friends with him. Elvis made everyone feel like they were best friends. That was Elvis.
If you were studying Elvis for 40 years you should know this.
No body could understand a word Elvis said not even Elvis himself
I remember when I met Elvis in 1959 and he told me something very profound, He said never die on the toilet, you’ll never live it down.
clickbate
Seriously??? Huchabee??? It worked for Elvis? It did? He was deliriously in despair.
I think he was talking about Elvis' music career which was unmatched in terms of success, not his personal life.
So WTF was so astounding...???
"Remember one thing: never forget where you came from or you won't get to where you want to go. " 01:52
Sorry but Elvis was a lost puppy. Great talent. New ager for sure. No Christian in spit of gospel songs. New age perversion.
What the hell are you talking about ?
@@raymondturner1478 no worries either you understand or you don't. Carry on
@@lawsonlawson9806 Writing English would help me a bit.
@@raymondturner1478 uh...I think he is judging a man's heart...which means he has some special power?????
Wrong.
