I’m so glad that MG Roper did this! It’s great to hear, and it’s very important for us to hear from our leadership! Being in the Army is like a whole other world! The comrades you meet seems to melt away race in certain situations! You just have brothers and sisters in Arms that you’d deploy with anywhere! Sometimes going home it can be a bit of a shocker hearing how people talk, or things they say about other races! I’m like man, I love everyone, and these are my battles that I’d do anything for! I’m glad that I’m a part of a diverse workforce! Not saying I’ve never been faced with racism in the military, but it’s been a lot less than when I’m in civilian clothes!
