I hope everyone is well on the planet of crazy. Thanks for all the comments and views. I really appreciate it. But this show! It’s hard to imagine a plot more stupid then the one we are getting in the Obi-Wan Kenobi show. And the more you watch it the worse it gets. But do you agree? And of course, if you enjoyed the video (how could you not) hit the “Like”. Subscribing and sharing the video is always a big help. And of course the bell. Cheers Everyone!

For your question about how does Reva know Obi WAN’s relationship with Bale Organa, I found the answer. In a deleted scene from the show, we see Reva’s room in the Inquisitorium. In it, we can see a blue-ray copy of Revenge of the Sith on a shelf.

Apparently the original script was pretty good. Reva was a side character meant to haunt Obi wan because of his past failure to stop the emperors plans who would redeem herself but still die. The focus was on Obi Wan.
But I assume that someone higher up (KK) wanted this female BIPOC to have a bigger role and even a spin off. So she couldn’t die and had to be more likable. But of course they left her as the villain so they were screwed.

It keeps getting worse and worse the more I think about it. Virtually every single aspect of this series was a failure. It is not the actors fault they were given garbage to work with. This failure sits squarely with the writers and production company.

I admire your positivity, because I lost respect for actors decades ago. The show is irrefutably garbage. The actors read the used toilet paper that was the script, signed the deal, and then that cowardly scumbag Ewam McGarbage actively participated on twitter calling the fans of his own show toxic, bigoted, and all this other anti LGBT+-APX buzzwords.
I get where you are coming from, but imagine someone came to you and said they’ll give you a million to play Captain Hodor from The Last Jedi. Would you do it? Very likely, but you would understand everyone HATES that character and you would know you chose the money over principle.
That said. I agree with you except the actors helped make this garbage. If Ewam said no, we wouldn’t have yet another dog shit SW plot.
At this point, Star Wars has 2.5 good movies (sorry, I always hated the Ewoks), 8 extra garbage movies, and 3 garbage shows. We have a 2.5/16 ratio of good to terrible. So about 84% of Star Wars has been bad. I didn’t even count the video games like the pay-to-play scams from EA’s Battlefront.
Star Wars is long dead, but at least the hate is keeping us together around the campfire in union. Pass the blue alien tiddy milk please 🥛 😃

How to spot a narcissist writer: Character destroys things I don't care about, but character spares something I do care about = redeemed character. The true redemption arc would be a willing submission to justice, some expression of remorse, and then change demonstrated over time. The power of her arc would have been expecting justice but receiving mercy, then living differently. Narcissists can't ever admit fault, though, so we have the "I can't hurt someone who I empathize with, so I'm a good person" plot instead.

You just called George Lucas a narcissist writer. Anakin Skywalker or Darth Vader murdered many people we didn't care about but spared one that we did care about and is considered redeemed. Vader never submitted to justice (don't say his death counts, he was granted immortality), expressed remorse past apologizing nearly killing his son despite murdering thousands in the past 25 years, or demonstrated change over time. He simply decided to save his son said sorry bruh and died yet that is seen as the greatest redemption arc of all time. and it is. you don't understand the intricacies of it however you just remember liking it as a kid. I'm not saying Obi-wan is perfect, but you seem to not be able to look past a minor flaw unless you had a pre-determined outlook on the person or plot.

I couldn’t have cared less about Reva or any new character introduced in this show as the only way they could or would be important is by any spin off shows. I can’t even remember most of the characters names.
The whole plot of this show was so poorly made. I would have taken an Obi-Wan trauma series were he’s struggling to cope with his past as he completes the training Yoda gave him at the end of Ep. 3. We could have seen Duchess Satine, younger Ashoka, younger Anakin, and clone wars stuff in flash backs. Which imo would have been amazing. Obi-Wan is so much more of a character than just teaching Anakin and Luke. And the Clone Wars did such a good job of showing that. Kenobi did not. His character was so one note and boring the entire time. I took more enjoyment in counting the amount of times he could have said ‘Hello there’ or some memey shit.

Yeah, I felt the same way that you did. The saddest part about Obi-Wan Kenobi is that even if its writing was any better and it did not make Kenobi a useless lump who had to be directed by a child Princess Leia, there would still be nothing at stake for any of the characters we already know from the prequel trilogy or the original trilogy. That sadly may have been why the Obi-Wan Kenobi writers or directors did not try; they never denied that making an interquel series about Obi-Wan Kenobi and the planet of Tatooine being chased and pursued by a new character who was a youngling Anakin failed to kill in the past, was a meaningless pursuit where putting any effort into the writing, directing, cinematography or even the budget would be totally pointless no matter what.
Putting real thought or effort into this pointless production to make Obi-Wan Kenobi as useful as he used to be would have at least won this mini-series the nostalgia points it was aiming to get from people who wanted to see a new story about Obi-Wan Kenobi and Darth Vader one last time. Your idea of having an intentionally lower-stakes storyline in between the two trilogies where Obi-Wan completes his training with Yoda, and struggles to cope with his past with flashbacks of the Clone Wars sounds way better in my opinion. The Book of Boba Fett was bad but Obi-Wan Kenobi was even worse. Think about it; Boba Fett was a somewhat one-dimensional (unless you count EU/Legends) character while Obi-wan was someone we saw grow across several films and a 7 season cartoon series. If I were to compare the damage that was done to the characters by Disney's mishandling to bicycle accidents I'd say TBoBF is the equivalent of falling off your bike and skinning your elbows/knees while Obi-Wan Kenobi is getting rammed by a Semi-truck.

And by 'optimize' I mean they reduce the production time as quickly as possible so they can move onto the next dis+ show they need to rush out to meet quotas. There's no passion in the writing of these shows, the plot just feels like a basic outline with a few undeveloped ideas that was only put to screen out of obligation. If I didn't know any better I'd think the script was literally spewed out of an AI that they just fed a bunch of previous star wars material into. Its got all the basic Disney tropes like they just parameters, a lot of scenes feel like they were poorly ripped off from previous Star Wars material, and the writing has a comical lack of thought put into it that it. Yah either an AI or a person with all the imagination of a AI scribbled out this script in one draft and the team put it to screen with all the enthusiasm of an eighth grade book report, content in the knowledge that the actually quality of the material is comically irrelevant as long as Dis+ metrics are good and the normies on twitter clap... what a waste...

    6. Honor cause and effect.
    7. Detail the rules of your universe and Obey the established rules of the universe the story takes place in.
    8. Set up & then pay off.
    9. Subversion, make the subversion as logical and rewarding, if not more, than what you are subverting from.

I just can't understand why these incredibly well versed fans of the franchise, who've read dozens of comics, books, watched all the TV shows, and all the movies, who've grown up in the era of George Lucas, still consider this garbage actually a good story. Because although there are SOME good scenes within this show in the later half of the season, the lazy writing, dumb choices that characters make, and plot holes the size of the death star, outweigh all of the somewhat good scenes combined.
