Definitely not too early can’t wait to see what you colour in Christl vogls book I’ve started using prismacolor in her books they work very nice on that paper 😊💖

I suggest only coloring in books you want to, doesn’t need to be Christmas. Just make sure you are inspired.

Was it raining? So used to it raining, I wouldn't notice lol! It was certainly a dull morning! 🥰
I don't the background noise is rain, just my camera inbuilt microphone trying to hard and picking up ambient noise (although that said, it 100% could have been raining!)

Hi Lily, my thoughts and wishes are with you and having been in the same work level / load as you, admittedly five years ago now, please watch for burn out. Even when I really enjoyed my work it crept up on me and got me. It took a year to get over and back to the same level again.

Some much smarter people than me once told me around lock down time that it's best to keep workspace area and relax time area cornered off and separate. Since you are so busy at work, it makes me think you just suffer from the fact that your hobby room is your work room at the same time.
Absolutely. I used to go into that room to have fun, now I go into that room to work. Of course it was initially temporary, because of the pandemic. And then as the company grew, they decided that managers can mostly work from home, so I got sent two huge monitors, docking station, desk phone. The "work" setup totally monopolises the room; we've even started calling it my office rather than my craftroom. Work has stolen the joy from the room 100%. 🫤

It Sounds To Me, That Room Is No Longer The Room You Can Relax In. It Is Where You Have To Totally Switch Off To Anything That Is Not Work.
If Poss Can You Take a Desk or Table Into A Diff Room That Is Just Solely For Work Or Your Colouring. Time. X

I so relate to this. As usual, I’ve been working a lot, and my work desk (which is already in my bedroom) is my only space for any crafts, except the kitchen table, and when I finally finish work, the last thing I want to do is stay in the same place. I think you spoke in an earlier video about maybe using the attic for work, maybe that would help?
Aw hope you get a break from work soon! Needs must though eh? Yes, we're thinking of rearranging things on the New Year definitely... I want my craftroom back! 😄

I'm not into Christmas yet, probably because my lounge is still full of my sister's stuff, although I have managed to sell a fair bit I've still got 99% of the dies and stamps. I'm giving it this week then I'm packing it all away until January, I think it was just a little bit too late to sell the Christmas stuff, most folk have their cards made by now. Sorry, I'm in a right moany mood, I'm fed up of folk wanting something for nothing, I'm selling it all dirt cheap to start with (those 62 full wow embossing powders, I got £35 !) I told 1 bloke to go and find another bereaved family to take the Michael out of 😂😂😂
Anyway, I'm going to cheer myself up and order Joanna's Christmas, hope work eases up a little and you get time to colour and do your jigsaws ❤

My colouring mojo has gone too 😢 I was looking forward to using my colorya pencils I sat down to swatch and there was 9 duplicate pencils so I only have 63 colours to play with I wanted to order more but they are out of stock !! I mean its not like I don't have a thousand more pencils 😂 check your sets lol I also opened a book I'd not used in a while to find yellowing mine was the arteza everblend! Hope you get your motorbike back soon xx😊

Aww thank you. This coming week looks like I might get a break. My main project has ground to a halt due to database issues (out of my remit!) so I get a bit of respite while the DBAs work out what's wrong! Might even take a couple of days off! 🥰

I’ve had mine up since early October but now I can turn the tree on without closing the curtains…🥰🤣
We have been trimmed up since the end of October and we can finally open the blinds again when the Christmas tree lights are on 😂😂
Haha what are you three like! I love having the tree up! I spoke to my husband about putting the decorations up early this year (even deep cleaned the lounge in readiness) but he put his foot down and said from Dec 1st... I'll see if I can wangle next week 😅

Definitely not too early, I’ve started on mine as well, plus there’s such a limited time to enjoy Christmas coloring. I can relate to looking at books and not being in the mood for certain ones. I think that’s why we need a variety to choose from!
Also - I agree that adulting puts a damper on the coloring vibes for sure. I hope you find some time to relax and unwind with some of your faves. Take care! ❤
Yes, that's a good point. We do have a limited time to colour Christmas, so makes sense to start early. I definitely need to carve out some colouring time, to help me mentally take a break from work if nothing else! 🥰

You have the Christmas Archie coloring book too? I didn't know anybody else had that one. We should buddy color in it, you know at some point maybe. I'm the same I haven't really colored in it but I love Archie.😊
