- In this video we show the WEICON TOOLS Cable Stripper No. 4-29 Spiral.
The Cable Stripper No. 4-29 is very robust, precise and suitable for soft as well as rigid insulations of cables with a diameter of 4.5 - 29 mm.The different cutting directions for round, spiral and longitudinal cutting can be safely set via the respective position of the adjustment lever.
The cutting depth can be adjusted easily and precisely. It can be set with a lockable control knob in 0.1 millimetre steps from0 to 3 millimetres.

@@WEICONinternational Hello, thank you for your recommendation. I've bought the 4-29. Is there a technique to turn or hold the tool so that when doing circle cuts, I can get the cut to line up after turning it one round? I notice most of the times, the cut does not line up unlike what is shown in the video.

Hello lemech,
did you pay attention to the direction of rotation of the tool? On the tool there is an arrow thats shows the direction in which you have to turn the tool during your work, otherwise you may get wrong results.

@@WEICONinternational Yes, I followed the direction of arrow. In fact, if I go against the arrow for circular cutting only, I get better results. The blade seems symmetrical, so it seems that for circular cutting only, it does not matter whether to follow the arrow. For spiral cutting, I always follow arrow.

The tool is not lockable, but the gradations snap into place, making them fully operational.
