I’m very upset the love don’t judge allowed her to be on their platform. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with being a homemaker and getting paid for it, I think that that’s a wonderful agreement. But sitting around telling women who are feminist that they’re clowns and they can’t be homemakers? That’s messed up. I am against anti-feminism. Do you believe in equal rights for all? Then you’re a feminist. It is not more complicated than that and I’m tired of the media acting like it is more complicated than that.

Exactly! I'm not saying she's going to be miserable in this lifestyle. She might have a great future ahead of her. But again, we have to remember why feminism became a thing in the first place.
If you have a good man... great! And if he continues to be a good man until death do you part, even better!!
But how many women, especially young ones, get tricked by a man who is a narcissist and a control freak? How many women have had their men lose a job, become an alcoholic and then abusive? How many women have been cheated on, emotionally abused, become married "single mothers" and that dreamy lifestyle falls apart and they can't get out on their own? How many women have had their men drop them entirely for a younger woman, put them out of the house with the kids, and with no credit/education/job skills find themselves single with kids struggling to make ends meet? And worse, how many woman have spent their entire lives building their husband's dream life then he dies and she finds out there's no savings and he didn't even care enough about her future to buy life insurance?? Now she's stuck with debt, has to sell the house and try to make ends meet on social security with no savings of her own??
I'm just saying... she has a bit of an advantage because she has a successful UA-cam channel. I just hope she has her own bank account. I hope she bought a life insurance policy on him. And I hope he doesn't change when he works from home and has to deal with screaming children running around the house. I hope he wants to be a participating father so she doesn't feel like she's doing everything alone. But whether you're a working mother or a SAHM, your future is still a roll of the dice. It's better to maintain a certain amount of control over your choices and financial future. Hopefully, she's smart enough to do that... otherwise her present dream could turn into a nightmare in 20 years.

I tried to do the whole house wife thing, and it didn't work out at all. I was talked down to because I didn't work. Even after I did work, I was still expected to do everything. Nope. Now, I have an amazing partner who works from home and he will still help me with the house. And I scheduled our first date nite in over 5 years. Arranged child care, etc. He then decided to have his mom and sister visit that day and evening. I’m embarrassed at how little he thinks of me and my feelings. After I’ve done everything I can do for him, cook, clean, stay fit and looking good at 43. And it still not enough to secure myself a date with my own husband. Thats the thing about the traditional housewife role that no one wants to talk about. Because its so rare in the west now it becomes glorified especially by men in the west because they are the ones so desperate to attain this that they do it with a level of delusion and assume that because shes still married and because shes being provided for therefore she must automatically be 'happy'.
Try asking the people who this life is the norm for. I'm Pakistani and in our culture women have always predominately been housewives even up until recently. My mother, aunts from both sides, older female cousins, grandmother etc were/are housewives. And yet so many of the modern day Pakistanis are rebelling against it and are choosing to work now, most of them doing so with the backing of their mothers. Why? If its supposedly meant to be the roles that makes women so happy? Because many of us know the depressing truth. Being a housewife serves at the benefit of the husband and children because it comes at the cost of her being a free, underappreciated, overused servant. The irony is if a man actually hired a nanny to raise his children and a chef to cook his meals and a cleaner to clean his house he would more than likely be more grateful and more respectful towards his employees and pay them more than $100 a week and not compare them to their mothers...

Well, when the modern aforementioned conventions were introduced, this behavior became much more prevalent, and the incentive for a woman to leave the bonds of matrimony increased. This has been studied extensively. Think about it. If you could have all of the ‘free sex’ you wanted without shame, keep or kill a fetus at will, and marry and divorce (and be awarded spousal support and child support at a rate of over 90%) when convenient - how likely would it be that you’d stay in a relationship when things got ‘hard’’, because marriage is not easy and certainly not a fairytale. Again, not hating, but this is crystal clear. If a study could be done in a vacuum with the factors I mentioned above being absent, you would see little to no out of wedlock births, and marriages that stayed together. And really, this is just common sense. We know this because it can be seen in poor (Africa, Nicaragua) or overly patriarchal (China, Middle East, etc) countries and continents. They don’t have these opportunities and don’t experience the resulting aftermath.

"I had no idea how nice it would be to have a maid who has sex with me. 😱"
I'm a feminist. I support her pursuit of happiness. But of course he's going to like having someone who does everything for him. Almost everyone would like a maid sometimes.
Edit after finishing the video: I find her unlikable. I'm fine with her doing whatever makes her happy in life, such as being a stay at home spouse and parent. That's great if it's what she wants. I do have a problem with the fact that she doesn't afford the same flexibility in allowing other women to pursue their version of happiness. Not all women would be happy doing what she's doing. Not all women want to be married, have children, or have a male partner. Calling other women delusional, ungrateful, or clowns for not wanting the same dynamic is almost certainly why she gets hate online and not because she chooses to take care of her home instead of working at an office. Everyone should be allowed to pursue their happiest lives as long as they don't hurt others in the process. She is rather hateful toward anyone who chooses a different path. It's pretty revolting. Good for her for finding what makes her happy, but she should not invalidate what makes others happy or put them down to raise herself up. Plus, she threw in the fat-phobia and anti-childfree remark at the end. That's gross.

Personally I would go insane being at home all the time, but I’m sure others thrive in that environment and that’s great! Can we as human beings just stop bashing other’s lives if they’re not hurting us or other people? A very informative video about the formation of Feminism. Feminism has always been a supremacy movement. It's simply been more out of hand as such vvomen demand more privileges. Even over 100 years ago with the suffragettes the history we learned about them was from a rose colored lens. Suffragettes were domestic terrorists as the men were coming home from World War I. They bombed buildings and burned and destroyed businesses. Of course this couldn't have been done without men as they used their men allied to them as strong arms to intimidate business owners where they would be held against their will and beaten as the vvomen destroyed their business or home. Even in 1848 with the formation of feminists at Seneca falls it's always been about female privilege in regards to things they never earned.

That is the reality feminism is forcing women into unknowingly. And what’s sad is that the older women who LIVED this and realize what they did still won’t tell us young girls the game. She claims not to work a traditional job yet she runs a UA-cam channel which does bring in income from working.
So that's not quite accurate for her to claim either.
The other problem is her very pragmatic view of marriage (the husband appears to be the same) It's a business arrangement first before anything else...if there is an anything else.
Aly mostly spoke in a very measured monotone voice. She almost sounded like a recording asking you to "Please hold, the next available associate will be with you shortly..."

@@ng38477 1. So I'm guessing the 19th Amendment in 1920 giving women the right to vote had no need for the Voting Rights Act of 1965. 45 YEARS LATER!
But I know my experience in this country. And that will not be invalidated.
Also, identity is up to individuals. I choose not to identify as a feminist. And that works for me. Do I support equal rights and equal opportunities? Of course. I still don't identify as a feminist. And the way the culture of the movement is going, I probably never will.
But have I thought more about my gender than my ethnicity being in majority Black/POC spaces than when I was in majority White spaces? Yes. But that's why I chose to change my environment.
Now as far as the masculine and feminine, that's yin and yang ☯️, and concepts of harmony and balance within nature that exist outside of humanity and is found in multiple cultures of color globally. So 🤷🏾‍♀️

@@lifeisrocqi 1. Ma'am, what are you talking about? The 19th Amendment gave you the right to vote. It didn't magically stop discrimination against Black people in the South. The 1965 law outlawed the discriminatory voting practices adopted in many southern states after the Civil War, including literacy tests as a prerequisite to voting. You really do need to learn about and understand the history and context of things you're referencing. You're working backwards from a conclusion. Feminists NEVER said Black women couldn't vote. IT WAS NEVER THEM who excluded you. It was MEN. You are very misguided. I'm not seeing solid reasoning here. You said, "That shit was never for me". Those women who put their lives and bodies on the line fought FOR YOU to have the right. It was MEN who discriminated and it was your own Black men who happily went to vote while you didn't have the right. We were never your enemies. You have 2 businesses. That was not possible in a pre-Feminist world. You could not enjoy MANY privileges you do without their work. I will not allow you to smear Feminists and say things that are incorrect or don't make sense. Your "experience" is enjoying their work and smearing them from the grave and blaming them for not eradicating all discrimination, lol. Apparently, they needed to be Thanos x10 and they're to blame for MEN who continued to discriminate against Black people.
That's true. You can identify however you want. But you're logic and reasoning makes no sense and you seem to have misdirected anger at people who actually help you. I hope you use the same logic with whatever you are following. I don't see Left or Right improving. They're racing to the bottom.
The only thing Feminine and Masculine debates are good for is a distraction for immature men who blame "Femininity" for their destructive behavior and lack of accountability. "We'Re iN a MaSCulINiTY CrISIs!" and "WoMEN WoN'T LeT Us Be MaSCuLinE!". That's all completely subjective and it's an excuse for WEAK males to do nothing to improve culture within the community of men. And for some reason, women need to LET them be masculine. So strong these men! LOL. I'm begging you all to stop obsessing about this. It's so dumb and men are using this as means to shame women into serving them. Many times, "Femininity" means obeying them like they our masters. This is a dumb debate that only serves men who want a maid they can fuck and to avoid taking accountability for counter-productive behavior. We live in a country constantly at war, wealth inequality, millions do not have adequate healthcare, our public education system is crap, and we have a crisis with Trans Community taking over everything woman and fully assaulting women's rights. Who gives about this? I hate this debate EVEN MORE because these MEN are claiming their version of "Femininity" makes THEM women. Men are using this all around to screw over women.

I don’t know why our society hates housewives. I was a housewife by choice before but my husband didn’t pay me. I was able to handle stuff at home and take care of our child well. It benefited our child and also made sure our home didn’t turn into a rat’s nest. When I had to work again on top of my responsibilities at home, it drove me insane and literally got sick. We were more financially stable BUT less happy. There are pros and cons of being paid to be a housewife, but we shouldn’t be hating on families who choose this setup.

    • @darcyroyce

Here's the thing. No one hates on housewives. People are not stupid, they know that these social media housewives are grifters, fakes, pretenders, people can feel it, also, those of us from another time, with years of housewife experience don't claim the artificial glamour, because we weren't in it for that!!! This is propaganda and people know it on a cellular level. I loved being married, accepting my ex husbands name, supporting him in all his endeavours, and feeling his equal at the same time. If he wouldn't have reciprocated that, by being as cheerful and giving and admiring of my goals and dreams, and how that benefited our marriage, us growing strong as a team, I wouldn't have married him. This is not to say that I think less of these guys, it's to say that marriages are not the same, there's no right way to go, it's what's working for them two. No pretentious and unsolicited advise needed.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with being housewife, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with getting paid to be a homemaker, and I think anybody who tells a person (man or women) that they can’t be a homemaker should shut up. However, this woman is sending a completely wrong message about feminism and homemaking. I am very upset to learn that she thinks that feminists are clowns and that homemakers can’t be feminist. As a homemaker and a feminist, I am extremely offended by this view and hurt. feminism will always get a bad rap because feminism will always take a backseat to every social issue there is. There are people who still believe sexism isn’t real and I’m sorry, but the wage gap is a real thing. It’s a lie for her to say that there is no wage gap. I’m very disappointed that a fellow homemaker would have such a twisted and manipulated view like this about feminism. Feminism is equal rights. There’s nothing more complicated about it than that. Do you believe in equal rights for all people? Then you’re a feminist. Don’t make it more than that. There are extremist in every corner of the world, not just feminism and you calling someone who has experienced serious sexism and identifies as a feminist, a clown is so hurtful. I am not a clown and I’m at not an extremists. She’s spreading lies about facts like the wage gap. That’s not right. I support your right to be a homemaker and a feminist. You can be both. Everyone can be a feminist because all feminism means is equal rights. Don’t listen to her views about feminism, they are misguided, misinformed, and hurtful.
