I feel that this man is a hint of eminem with a hint of SLUG and Eyedea of Rhymesayers, he really has a BEAUTIFUL sound and a powerful message to spread. It is a shame to see the mainstream today as it is remaining naked and confined to such trash when artists such as this go unnoticed EVERY day. And why? Shame and a half to say the least but until the day that changes Ima be bumpin this shit on the daily, keep doin ya thing my dood your music will ring thru eternity.
Hey, I know this is a relatively old upload but if anyone reads this and finds a song called Failure by The Lab Rats (These Guys) then could you maybe upload it to UA-cam or direct me to where you downloaded it from, I've heard it and it's really good but no matter what I looked up it was a bit to sketchy for my tastes or was something else entirely, if you do any of this thanks.
a 2 month old comment, got replied to 4 hours ago, and you responded 10 minutes ago, and this is my first time ever hearing this song/video.. bizarre Lol go peep my music
I cannot stress the meaning of this song. Making ends meet, your life is looking its bleakest and things don't look like they'll ever get better. The way we cope isn't healthy, but at least they get us to the next day, when we can rinse and repeat it hoping that a stroke of luck will come around. We think things will get better that way. But all you're in is a loop in an unstable way of living, but we keep trying anyway we can because maybe, just maybe we'll hit a jackpot that'll turn our lives around. It's a deep song and overall deep album with a lot of meanings. I think that's why it's one of my favorite albums of all time.
As much of a longshot as this may be, is there anywhere to download these albums? all of my searches have turned up fruitless and i'd love to have this music outside of youtube
@@rooth4487 pretty much. Bills to pay and a kid to raise, choose the better way to provide a stable life for his kid. Lived in Columbus from '06 to early '14... saw a number of their shows in my early days there... It's a shame they never caught fire outside C-Bus... soo good.
@@MickeyKraut419 Would have done anything to ever see them, I found them back on their site in 2011-12, and even just recently picked up the Half Full Ashtrays CD. I tried to do as much as I could to see if I could make contact with Brian, but no dice. Would love to thank him for the music he and K made.
Ok, I love these guys but I also don't know where they stand religiously. There are so many bible references but at the same time they aren't christian at all. They probably only used the bible for analogies and whatnot.
@inactivepixel If you listen to Eminem's originally albums, his mixtapes or even his album Marshall Mathers, This Kid Has That Kind Of Voice And Lyrical Style. Not new Em, but True Em.
I saw the Devil's Train music and thought it was a short documentary about something but I was wrong. When the instruments started playing I was not expecting a rap song. So happy to find them.
Disbanded, Kelly went to work on a different project, Hotel Eden, Brian just kinda disappeared. Last I heard he worked in a wine shop after his rapping career.
I wish these guys were on Spotify, I’d definitely be in their top 0.5% in no time
Without a doubt I'm meeting you there
They just got on Spotify like a month ago I’m so happy :D

I hate the fact that everytime a white mc has a slightly nasal voice, someone makes an eminem connection.
Fuck you from 8 years in the future.
A decade later and things have only become worse
People are brainwashed and slaves to garbage
My brother heard me listening to this before and said he even sounds like Eminem.
These guys are fucking awesome, its really sad they broke up before they
made it big.
It’s been a while but these songs are still great, love this album
SaltySinner it’s unfortunate it was only a one album band
@@silentkarma same with Binary Star
@@silentkarma they actually released 2, Half Empty Glasses, Half Full Ashtrays and Short Order EP.
dope ass song rite here
i discovered this song during freshman year of high school and i don’t know how it popped into my head, but i’m so glad i found it again

Probably one of my favourites of theirs. Sucks that they never made it big.
Brains my son-in-law and doing well. He has been painting on canvas. His work is in demand.

ill see what i can do.
Itunes has Half Full/Half Empty now. Not sure about their others.
holy crap dude, thanks so much. i cant believe this is actually the right link. praise
Yes. This song is so depressing yet makes you rethink your life and make changes. That is the point of music. This is perfect.
this jingeling change explains all these hangovers! story of my life....
PLEASE GET BACK TOGETHER!!!!!! much love
I can tell he got inspiration from eminem's rock bottom
Still here after all these years visiting these songs that shaped me in the past, wonder how they're all doing right now
beebrownable is Brian Brown, the lead singer of The Lab Rats. Someone flagged his comment in reply to TaylorWrightable, great job guys >_
Brian knows this video exists? Nice
I wonder what happened to these guys. Their music is so good
For real though
I think one of them got hit by a car and died or something. Not fully sure tho
How did u come to that conclusion? Kelly did a solo project called Hotel Eden, and Brian supposedly just stopped the career.

They cook then leave the flavour without any of tempo
You should, you've got a die hard fan in me. I introduce your stuff to everyone I meet, people who like rap, people who don't.
They all like it.
@JimenezLeon Dude literally i bet there is a song made every day this is awesome as hell and no one will ever hear. so terrible.
Miss this. Used to do hella dope to this song and somehow it brings back the good memories from back then, not the bad.
Wish this band would have hit it
This song is a maze ...ing.
God dame these guys are amazing. Lets all try to shear them and get them out their i want to see more!
I wish I could see these guys in person, but I hope whatever they are doing today leaves them happy

Loved this CD when I had it, wish I still had it!
Missed this

Beast. All i have to say.
How did you happen to find this?
I saw the Devil's Train music and thought it was a short documentary about something but I was wrong. When the instruments started playing I was not expecting a rap song. So happy to find them.
so damn good
Where is this band now?

These guys kinda sound like Eminem or NF
