For those wondering about the story line: The story is based off one of the stories from a very popular Chinese drama Chinese Paladin 3. It's about the descendant of Nuwa and a cultivator from a prominent school. In this case wei ying is the descendant and lan zhan is the cultivator. This video starts out with lan zhan going out to clear off some demons. He enters an inn and wei ying sees him. While lan zhan is sleeping wei ying comes in. The women in the cloak that comes in tells him he can't be here and that lan zhan already has his memories sealed and doesn't remember wei ying. wei ying says he knows but he just-. during lan zhan fight, wei ying helps but gets injured. lan zhan feels something familiar about him when hes healing him. during this time his masters are watching him and tell him it's his memories that are sealed and will unlock them (the scene with all the old men chanting). the masks swooshing means flash backs. The first swoosh shows their first life together. wei ying and lan zhan meet on the streets and become close. lan zhan and wei ying's letters end up in the hands of one of the masters (lan zhan uncle) and he tells lan zhan if he continues he's only going to end up in a love that can never happen. The masters tel them wei ying is Nuwa descendant and is only here for his duties. They run away, causing a fire, to a cliff where they find out they have no where to go. They hold hands and jump off. lan zhan dies but since wei ying is an immortal, he survives. in the next life lan zhan is still a cultivator. when he's born wei ying bring him to the cultivator school and asks them to seal his memories to prevent him from going through death again. the women who swarm in tell him to help them get their husbands back. wei ying is Nuwa descendant but due to missing lan zhan has become someone drinking all day and night with those husbands. lan zhan goes and meets wei ying. They eventually get close, fall in love, and get married. however lan zhan feels wei ying only loves him because he resembles another. he leaves. wei ying gets in a fight and lan zhan saves him during the conflict but in the process, dies. before he dies he asks wei ying if his heart only has enough space for that one person and asks how long he will wait for him then dies. wei ying wakes up (third life) in white clothes seeing lan zhan and asks him if he remembers everything. lan zhan says he does. (music change) the narrator says when a love is bound to end the only thing you can do is forget about him or make him forget about you. in the end they end up together. the original story is a lot sadder than this. it's all about the same till the third life. they meet again. but this time the guy makes a decision and chooses cultivation over the girl who's been waiting for him for three lifetimes. before they part ways they go to a river to drink its water. the water will make them forget about each other. however the girl covers her leaf of water with her sleeve and only pretends to drink it while spilling it. the guy actually drinks it but the moment they part ways, he forces himself to spit it out. the girl is pregnant with his child and after she gives birth she becomes a mortal because her child has become the new descendant and she's lost her value. the guy becomes a top cultivator. in the last scene, it's snowing and the girl as an old woman is playing happily in the snow. the two remember when the guy promised to be with her when it snows but in the end, he never fulfilled that promise.

I feel like I kinda understand the plot but at the same time...not really OTL. (This is just entirely my guess) In the beginning Wei Ying saw Lan Zhan again. Wei Ying admits Lan Zhan is his lover but I think when LZ woke up...he doesn't know who WY is...Also the baby scene...I think that is Lan Zhan reborn and WY stood there. I think WY wants to know if LZ and him will meet again...When LZ saw this cultivators, they may regained his memory(?). I think 200 years ago...Lan Zhan and Wei Ying met....they became lovers. Lan Zhan is always by Wei Ying's side no matter what...but one day they fought in the battlefield. Lan Zhan got killed...hence in the beginning you saw the baby. I think Wei Ying is from demon realm...and Lan Zhan was a demon slayer. The ending kind of threw me off though...I'm not sure if they time travel or it was all Wei Ying's dream...but yeah. Don't take my analyzed too seriously, I hope someone can actually explained it well.
