  • This video shows one of my absolute favorite ways to target and catch mid summer walleyes. In this video I cruise around deep flats and mid lake structure chasing down walleyes with a jiggin rap. Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy!

    Please tell us more about the livescope cone. How to cast and stay in the "cone" ? This is the hardest part

    • @tjsguideservice
      @tjsguideservice  3 роки тому

      I would agree - it can be so hard to see your jig unless it’s big. You need to make sure your transducer is lined up exactly with your handle. If you cast I can see it I will move the transducer a little bit to try change the angle and sometimes that helps a lot. I have mine on RAM mount though so I can manipulate it a lot.

    So where do you have your lice scope mounted and what settings do you use? lov your videos keep them coming.

    • @tjsguideservice
      @tjsguideservice  2 роки тому +1

      Appreciate it, Eric! I mount mine right next to where I am sitting at my console. Right above my throttle essentially.

    would like to see the set up of your transducer and how you rig and utilize that. I have been comtemplating getting livescope and permanently mounting it. But am not sure if something more portable/moveable would be better.

    • @tjsguideservice
      @tjsguideservice  3 роки тому

      Yeah I was trying to decide what all to put in the video. Might have to do another one on that. I have the ice bundle from garmin and just move it back and forth from the boat. I needed a longer cable to mount the black box under my console and then I just use the summit pole with a ram mount attached to my boat. Not as portable, but works better for guiding because it’s more tucked away. I just used the ice kit last year and just pulled it out when I needed and it worked fine!

      Rio that’s the easy part. Just lift and drop over and over. If the bottom comes “early” that’s a fish :) getting a simultaneous view of the fisherman and livescope is awesome!

    • @tjsguideservice
      @tjsguideservice  3 роки тому +1

      I have tried those before and I didn’t seem to notice much of a difference. Although I probably should have given it more of a chance. I have also tried using a single hook instead of the treble. Have you had any experience with that?

    • @snowmobile2009
      @snowmobile2009 3 роки тому +1

      @@tjsguideservice I've never done the single hook we use mustad triple grips size 4 and it makes a stupid difference how many fish hook up and how many fish stay hooked if they get on where you have them they don't come off
