Blake Reed He wasn't a "trannie?" shonen ai means gay relationship. He was described as very feminine and beautiful for a man, that's why his design is feminine. He never purposely tried to look like a woman, which is why he's pissed when the other characters refer to him as female or feminine.

I remember first seeing Ranmaru in Warriors Orochi 3 (the first Koei game I bought; I know I skipped a lot; I guess I bought it because of how many characters you can play as) and I was completely unaware that Ranmaru was a boy I mean....for newcomers.....look at him he looks like one of the prettiest girls in the Koei cast there is noway Newcomers won't think 'Boy' when they see him
I was gonna add him in my top 50 attractive woman in video games but after reading his profile and saw the word 'He' and 'Him' all over his profile, I almost had a heart attack.

Yeah i know, from what i heard that in real life Ranmaru was rumored to be Oda Nobunaga's lover which i guess is the reason why they decided to make Ranmaru look femine in this series.

Ranmaru is a guy, however if we are referring to our modern interpretation of "gay" then we are far from the true interpretation. My previous comment was quite crude, and only now do I realize that the modern view of just plain sexual desire for another mans ass is really inaccurate. The Shudo tradition was something else for samurai, they believed it to be for the younger samurai to be giving his life and soul to his partner. Although I find it creepy I will admit it is a very honorable concept

The english voice acting of his, is well made. He had the same soft-brave voice.

I love femboys, as I love beautiful women, and Ranmaru is the perfect junction of both. Never aging, more than needed, is a plus. Not existing, however, is a minus, and even if he did - still - it wouldn't be as interesting as the written persona, and he would age, losing his beauty.

I kind of hate the kawai religion and all... But this is sweet. This pairing is awsome. Gracia is so straightforward and attractive girl. I always loved her in the previous installment but now I love her even more. (She's independent and well-dressed (like a girl not a whore).)
