I’m a 52% wr player, mostly bc I played it when I was younger when it first came out, but I have a 83% wr in this tank over 300 games. Though I’ve won 60%ish of my battles over the last few months, it’s still pretty clear that this tank is very good even in the hands of an average player
IS-7 is definitely an all-rounder tank and (debatably) strong, but it’s definitely not OP as it isn’t hard to counter, which is not the case with OP tanks.
I don’t think it needs a nerf. There are a lot of great t10 heavies . T110e5, fv215b, those auto loaders… I don’t have an is7, but I never considered it to be a super menacing tank. IS 4, though, definitely needs a buff…
Fv215b is definitely not up there with these great tanks as you mentioned. It’s more of a challenge to play the 215b as it is one the most team dependent heavies in the game.

Ah, perhaps a super speed boost? Well, it has one too. I would totally agree that this is not the easiest tank to do well in, but I, personally, consider it a super strong vehicle. I somewhat agree with you. Ever since the IS7 design buffs, along with the recent buff, my average damage on is7 is around 3k-4k easily with tons of bounces. Its just so op for me, to the point i only use is7 if i wanted to get competitive lmao Glad seeing my first T10 tank have a moment of glory before WG nerf it to oblivion
The german wehicles are known for their armor but making your wehicle smaller and putting armor everywhere works better the IS series have proved it irl
They need to buff is4 instead of nerfing is7. Maybe instead of nerfing it nerf more op tanks like: vk 90.01 and 71.01K which for me are far more annoying to fight against

Okay. So since Christmas my win rate has dropped 10% to a lousy 43%. This despite being top 3 in damage near every battle, tons of 3rd class, bunch of 2nd class. Over last day alone I played 20 battles, 18 freaking losses. Every loss battle was over in first min and a half. After looking into stats, the opposing team has an average of 10K plus battles (many with 30-45k), ALL playing in tier 6-7. While my team has avg 2.5 battles. How the F is this even remotely "fair/equal?" After looking deeper, near every lost battle player stats are near the same. Winning team has 10x the battle experience (hence crew skills, map knowledge, etc). I've taken screen shots of all this, sent off to WG to complain. Only get the standard response. I get when players occasionally want to go "seal clubbing" but this is beyond ridiculous. WarGaming HAS to fix this, or they will become dependent on little children to whom they seem 2b marketing to lately (ads, bright colorful camos, etc)

However WG gave this tank some leeway and gave it 6 degrees of gun depression when reality it has 3
Well, history and wot blitz have very little in common, you know. It’s just an arcade game, that tries to be more or less balanced and fun to play, not a tactical simulator. Many tanks “should” be different. Would it make the game more historically accurate? Definitely yes. Would it make it more interesting and fun? I very much doubt it.
Now only thing left is the cycle of wg of nerfing it again and then buffing the is4 I’m pretty sure in a few years the cycle will happen again And by the way maus really needs pen buff it is trash with rammer and extremely bad with calli only 326 can’t even pen jag or e100 flat ground if they are running enhanced or just angle 15 degree And don’t get me started with heavily armored TDs and heavies

It's Called Russian Bias, It's a Russian Game & of Course the Best Tanks are Russian, it's just the Same as World of Tanks. if Americans Made the Game, you can Bet the American Tanks like the Abrams Would be the Best Tank.

Hard grind, that was the easiest I had. The worst was the French amx 50b line for me and it needs a buff

Personal opinion: The Type 71 is just as good, just don’t go flat side and always angle
I lost in a 1v1 against an IS 7, while playing the type 71, pretty sure it's a skill issue on my part lol. 😂

Most folks wouldn't need the high end consumables with that tank.. Some folks never platoon or play supremacy either.. 😮
This tank doesn't need a nerf it's just a well balance tank for me and i love it i did 4.5k damage and 4.3k block pretty decent tank
