Bro it's literally the same thing cause buying apple stocks makes apple stocks worth more the same way it goes with crypto yes there are other things that make the value of apple stocks fluctuate but in the end it's people buying something because they think it'll be worth more later so they can sell it at some point It's both just gambling If you wanna support apple you either buy their products or you invest in them If they give you stocks for investing than you're also buying stocks in a way I guess but the only way apple makes money because you buy stocks is because they sell theirs after you bought your stocks or they did something people like and the price is high The only difference between stocks and crypto is the amount of pump and dump schemes (though that is arguably very debatable), the amount of regulation and that in general if you buy into a big important company like apple your stocks are more likely to keep their value a little longer This is why I don't like stocks cause yes I know there are venture capitalists but apart from that it's a system that is more likely to support either a small group of companies that are pretty darn big or only really the top companies It's just way more likely to keep the rich rich and the poor poor for a multitude of reasons But eh yeah, that's just me 😅
