You know what, Subaki? I like you. As far as I know, you're the first male Pegasus Knight in the series, so for that, I applaud you.
Breaking new grounds in gender relations. Now all he needs to do is win an argument against Corrin and he shall be as a God among men.
Generic enemy pegasus knights in one of the gameboy games had male models I think, but Subaki is the first male playable pegasus rider.
it was actually explained in one of his supports. apparently nohrian flying mounts (Falicorns, I think they called them?) are a different breed than the Hoshidian pegasi. It said that only fair maidens could ride Nohr's winged horses, but anyone with a pure heart could ride Hoshido's. Can't believe I'm bothering to respond to this a year late, haha.

Curiously if you get someone to help you with a favor youll always have something to open up a conversation about and to thank them for. So yeah, this as a pick up line is top.

Subaki: When I arrived at Castle Shirasagi to tryout to become Lady Sakura's retainer. When I rode in, I fell off my pegasus and in clear view of Lady Sakura and Hana.
Robin: But Sakura allowed you to be her retainer anyway. I'd say it evens out.
Subaki: You don't understand, Robin. I must be perfect. I was born to be perfect.
Robin: Subaki, everyone makes mistakes. There are even points in my strategy executions that the enemy sees through my plan and knows how to counter me.
Subaki: Then you Robin, have no idea what it is like to be me. Somebody who was born into a noble family where perfection is a must, any thought for error is not an option.
Robin: I see, you have this whole perfect philosophy solely based around your family having such a high standard.
Subaki: You more or less hit it on the nose. Now if you'll excuse I must train harder to recover from this setback.
