I'm a big fan of corrupted sorrow for single target takedown and pairing it with the corrupted arbalest for mob cleanup. They feel super good together when running around.
It seems to be extremely effective with burst damage! My guess is that, quite like curse does to us, it can "half" the enemies HP temporarily. Perhaps it translates to double damage, in a sense? As you can see in the video, it certainly felt like an astronomical amount of damage.
@@IHaveInsipidus I see, well if it works well with burst damage, I wonder how it would be if you strapped it to an alt weapon, then used corrupted merciless, since that weapons entire concept it doing a ton of damage in a short window. I feel like combining fetted wounds on like tech 22 (that's the machine gun pistal, right?) As well as the knight mod, then some damage boosting mutator on CR, combined with the gunslinger's bullet storm for high rate of fire could lead to some huge burst damage, you could even use invader's wormhole to add extra damage to the first shot. Adding a bunch of damage and skill boosting rings and amulets sounds good too. Just a notion, I'll try myself at some point, but I'm reluctant to corrupt my precious merciless.

Burden of the destroyer, ring of crisis, digested hog lure, and outcast ring are the rings. Golden ribbon is the amulet. I assume those are the hardest to see! I’ll make them easier to see next time!

Essentially, every time the mod lands, you hit a minimum of roughly 7,200 dmg (which is so high on its' own! certainly could go higher, I just like to make my builds beefier so they're more accessible and not glass cannons). If any of the 10 crit, the crit can increase that number pretty dramatically. On top of that, if you do it while a boss is cursed, well.. you see what happens to them lol I especially loved the Legion interaction. The only time that shooting him while his eye is dormant can be extremely effective. Crazy interactions with this build my friend
Hey Im doing a hardcore run and have an interesting status build but when I went to pick up the energized neck coil its not there does anyone know if its a bug or if the its disabled or something
I apologize for not reinforcing what curse does in the video! It works the same as it does when, say, the fae prince elites curse you, or red prince. It lowers max hp. It works different for the enemy, of course, because you can only temporarily give them curse (with the knight guard mod). But because of the burst damage, with full stacks of curse, you can make an enemy implode.
This looks good, question though. Hows the ammo econ? Looks like it would be a bit harder also what do you think of the new cube gun? I built it using the micro compressor ring. Can fire 20+ shots before cooldown.
In the over world, you’ll run out if you use it primarily. There were some bosses that died well before I needed to pop an ammo box. I think you would benefit from gunslingers trait or higher ammo reserves from, say, relic fragments. But if you’ve got the scrap, just rely on ammo boxes! You get 7 reloads / mod uses before you’ll need a refill. I like the design of the cube gun. With that being said, if projectile #1 is still passing through the enemy when projectile #2 hits, it negates it, essentially halving overall dps, and of course, halving the amount of projectiles that actually cause damage. It needs to be fixed before it can even be in the conversation!
Well if you're ok with losing a bit of mod damage you can trade out the neck slot for the Zero Divide, giving you infinite ammo w/o needing consumables. Don't get me wrong, using an ammo box out of combat is still better so you don't lost damage, but ZD is just super comfy.
@@En3ka_at the end of the video is the mutator I used, bottom heavy. The extra fire rate and reload speed was excellent and borderline necessary. Many mutators will work well with the weapon!
I would recommend changing knight guard with Ring of Spears. Knight guard synergy no longer works, and Ring of Spears synergy is infinitely better with shielded strike anyway. Unlimited shield, essentially

@@tiggatar1182it’s easy! Start the root nexus and just deal steady damage to him overtime. He will spawn 0-3 aberrations throughout the fight. I usually reset when the root nexus hits 10% hp. I just kept a bleed or corroded effect on him at all times, and rushed the first 50% of health so he would spawn waves and potentially aberrations !

Since it only temporarily reduces the enemies max health, it essentially acts as a VERY effective damage modifier. Paired with the fact that you’re already hitting for 720-1200 or so damage per bolt, hitting a fully cursed enemy with all 10 bolts can be devastating.. as you can see in the video! Tal’ratha was one of those eye openers where I was like, okay, this is absolutely batshit.
Nope! You could definitely do a bit more damage with a more mod-centric choice (and medic works just as well because of it being all damage). This was a very defensive build that just so happened to also obliterate enemies.

Aside from that, you realize that more than one gun, in a game with many, many guns can be considered too powerful, correct? Or is that out of the realm of rationality?
