Nice review, seems like the weapon figure is pretty much pointless with its articulation, should've given us a static figure like how she always looks in-game, either hands behind her back, crossing her arms or whatever pose that suits her personality, can't say much with her headsculpt tho
Yeah, they should really just make a Cortana & the Weapon 2 pack with them being like 5 or so inches tall, fully translucent, and full articulation.
On loose socket joints like the diaphragm, an easy fix I learned from Toy Polloi is a drop of super glue. Adds just enough volume to aid friction joints.
I might need to try this mine falls over all the time.
Damn, I wish that hand fit with series 1 chief as that's the one I've painted up. This is a nice set but the QC remains disappointing. Great review!
Thanks! Yeah, it's kind of a bummer that the hands don't swap between this and the series 1. Also, the QC really is getting bad lately.
Nice review, still I don't understand HOW IT IS POSSIBLE jazwares HAS NOT IMPROVED THE JOINTS OF THE KNEES, this is simple if you can't do double joints well, MAKE THEM SIMPLE jazwares, JOYRIDE DID IT AND IN MY OPINION THEY ARE THE BEST JOINTS I HAVE SEEN IN HALO FIGURES, (despite the fact that plastic is very cheap and they feel loose) BUT THEY POSE WELL.

I find the plastic Jazwares has been using since Wave 3 is really weak, cheap, and rubber. Part of what made Waves 1 - 2 so great was how good it felt to handle the figure. Chief's proportions (his neck) was a lot better in Waves 1 - 2 as well. The knee joints since Wave 3 have also been awful and it's a shame that it's the design Jazwares is going through with.
I wish there were Upgrade Kits for Wave 1 - 2 Chief so he could wield an energy sword, but alas.

Man I was really hoping there would be more to this to encourage me to pick it up. Either different weapons or even having the grapple hook on his arm like series 3 chief. I have series 1 chief and then the chief from the two pack and can't bring myself to get this one.
I don't blame you the only real reason to buy this set is for the energy sword hand and for the AI data chip hand. This set would have been better if it was like $20 and just didn't come with Chief and was like an upgrade kit for season 3-4 Chief with new weapons, hands, and then the Weapon figure.
@@Wolfstalker25Reviews yes! If they could get better distribution and release a munitions/accessory pack I would buy more of their stuff. The recent world of halo release debacle has started to sour my on jazwares lol at least gamestop has made these latest releases easier to get. I could see myself getting this chief down the line for the reasons you said and either custom fodder or just to maybe have a chief posed on his own and one with blue team.
It would have been nice to get a brute or generic elite with arbiter for these deluxe figures.

Nice review! I love how my Series 1 Chief looks and I am so glad I bought two (one NIB). Is it just me or are the new Chiefs a little small in the head looking? It looks like they made the head mold smaller, but I'm not sure. The neck looks extended for sure, like they emphasized the neck joint so he can look up and down more...

Um I don't think so cause I'm pretty sure the sword doesn't come with any peg holes.

and they keep missing the black part on the collar, so even with this version, the series 1/ 2 are still the best ones, i used thiner on mine to remove the black paint on the diaphragm

That's actually sad she is the second most important character in the whole franchise.
