I love your show. I have spent 60 years fishing The Great Lakes but now my winters are going to be fishing The GOM near Ft. Myers, FL. I'm new to saltwater fishing and watching as many UA-cam videos as possible this fall and early winter to learn as much as possible about catching and identifying fish. I get that when you're used to fishing a particular way a person will skip over some things that seem so obvious but it's not obvious to a newbie. Please don't think you're boring us with minor details. Thanks for the tutorials and the best of luck to you.
Every time I watch you do two things to me, you get me pumped up when your catching something and hungry, thank you sir 🙂
Beautiful scenery , nonstop action, and solitude... It doesn't get much better than that man!
25 miles in a 17' boat, I like it. Don't need a huge boat to go way out if you pick your days and know your boat is in good condition.
I like how much this guy sees anyone and everyone as family
Very entertaining and informative. I have never been to Alabama, but it is now on my bucket list. I fish in northern Ohio on Lake Erie, I've caught about half a dozen fish so far, mostly on spoons. My friend got me into fishing. I would be very interested in getting into salt water. Keep fishing and have a good time.
Used to go reef fishing with my Dad and Uncle in Bermuda, handling 100 lb test for grouper, porgies or whatever. Pull up a 2-3ft reef shark by hand at 12 years old is an experience. No gloves, line cuts but you pull hard and when you swing it over the rail? Commotion and the ping of the aluminum bat. I'm smiling while typing.
Dad would filet the catch on the way in, bracing his legs against the back of the boat. He would leave the skin attached as well flicking the filets into a bucket of sea water with his knife. I would collect the filets and feed him fish while my Uncle drove us home. Some happy days. Thanks for triggering the memory.
Love Docs !! We vacation on the gulf coast and Docs is the best. Love your videos, keep up the awesome job !
Beautiful day in the Gulf! You know your reef locations, some nice catches. Time for dinner, looks delicious! Always enjoy your videos, thanks for the adventures!
My family and I drive from Northern Kentucky just to eat at Doc’s and fish the pier. Have really enjoyed your style! Don’t change a thing!
It’s lit that they cook everyone’s catch at different restaurants‼️ I don’t think we have places like that in the 757
Orange beach is calling my name! Lol never caught a mangrove you catch some of the best looking fish man I’m jealous but I love seeing it hope soon I’ll be able to do it as well
Glad you finally got a bounce buster for your T/M. I've seen the deck break out under the mount without one.
Always look forward to your videos. I'm going to try to filet your way soon.
I live on an island in the Caribbean and have access to fresh fish. Now that I found your channel I have to give it a go.
I was a ski instructor for 50 years and I always thanked the Good L-rd each day I was on the hill.
Thanks young man.
Was just down there for the 4th weekend!
Thanks for going over your gear and season info. What a great day, jealous.
Whats up Amerit? Great video, even better meal. Had no idea Docs did that.
New subscriber. Took a charter out of Pensacola a few weeks ago and my cuz hooked into a 20lb snapper. She held the rod while her son cranked on the reel. Cooked it that night on the grill. Was awesome. I just retired so it's time to fish.
Could you make a video one day covering how you’ve set up your tackle bags for inshore and offshore fishing?
Thanks Bama for the content, great fishing.
I did this stuff 50 years ago in the Bahamas. Oh, to be young again.
Thanks for the video.
grabbed a ute full of fishing gear today at the local garage sale and "karen" wasn't happy. Posting the video on my channel tomorrow
He’s so wholesome
As always, great video. Thanks for sharing
Thank you, always a pleasure to watch your videos.
Love the off shore vids! Great catches and dinner looked awesome! Thanks for taking us along!
Best YT fishing channel... Hands down!!!!!
Not only are you knowledgeable and Adventurous. You help people. That’s right on, man. New Subscriber too. Fish on!
I love the contrast between your video and many others. Catch and release, catch and release.....
You, "these taste really good so, in the cooler!"
😁😋👍
Great video, love your use of circle hooks with small baits. These porgys are almost identical to our snapper which grow to over 30 pounds in New Zealand. Over ten pounds is a good fish and 20 is a trophy usually released. We fish for them with bass type softbaits. A light 10 to 15lb graphite rod, 3000 size reel and 8 or 10 lb braid, and 20lb fluorocarbon with a 1/2 ounce jighead with a Berkley gulp 5 " jerkshad. A big one will take about ten minutes to bring in. Such fun. Crazy I fillet fish identical way to you. The reason the fish curls up like that is lactic acid, if you leave it 6 hours it will relax. Great video thanks
Off shore reef fishing sure looks like a lot of fun👍👍
i love the mornings with high ceiling clouds, makes it feel a little less exposed
I absolutely love my sord knives. I wish they made one that’s about 5 inch blade that’s extremely thin and flexible for when I butcher my deer and other game. My sord knives go on every hunting and fishing trip I go on.

That’s what I’m talking about no need for ice ! Cookin up momma looked happy .. definitely subscribed just real fishin and sharing the catch 🍻
I was just in Orange Beach last week and we went out right where you were. The sheeps head were biting at the inlet to the bay. Took a charter out on Monday and the seas were rough! We got beat up and 8 guys were sea sick. We did'nt catch much but I came back with some Ruby red lips, squirrel fish and sea bass. They were amazing. I wished I had taken them to Doc's Seafood but we had to fly home.
Nice family always enjoy your video's keep up the good work
Thank you Bama. I enjoy your great videos from Chile. We have a lot of fishing here and I learn about your Styles.
Another great video! I love Doc’s! Keep the videos coming!
Good show thanks for sharing
Love Doc's ! They've cooked up Sheepies for us a few times. Best. Shrimp. Ever.
Similar fishing profile to me. Scout 145, Yami 50. Take it out 17 miles to a ledge in 42' off of Pasco, FL. Great boats.👍
Amrit is a man of few words….
Doc's is our favorite whenever we're down there!
Quick tip to get rid of the blood line. Cut the gills before throwing the fish in the cooler. It bleeds the fish out.
For sure! Great tip, I usually bleed my fish and then throw in an ice slush ! Makes em real firm and fresh
now that was a good day on da water, well done vid, keepem commin..rtr..
I've been fishing offshore in Miami Beach since 1980 n I always use cut squid to the bottom between 40 n 100ft deep...it's an awesome bait..
Enjoyed it!!
very Nice video and a delicious Dinner.
Love watching you. Is your brother shy? he never talks in any of your videos. Mom can definitely hold her own while fishing as well
That looks like SO MUCH FUN! I think if I had a boat I would do that as often as I could. Thanks for sharing this.
Just found you and love the videos! Good action, grear camera work, nice quality sound. Everything other small creaters seem to lack. Keep it up!!
awesome day on the water bama nice catch
Looks like you had a blast out there!
What a variety.
Squid is always a solid bait 💪
Yes I agree, I use it offshore but rarely use it inshore as much. We used to catch big Red Drum on it in the bays.
Now that looks like fun.
The look on your brother's face😂 he really wasn't vibing with the situation.
Your mom is so pretty, her smile can light up a room
THE CASUAL DOLFIN NO ONE SAW AT 1:45
That was a nice offshore mixed bag fishing trip, lots a good eats! Would have loved to seen what you had on the big rod, that was a tackle Buster for sure! Good to see you guys at Doc's, one of the best restaurants around!
Thank ya sir! I would've liked to see it as well. I assumed a big AJ but not against a Grouper or another Larger Snapper either.
Love your videos. This one reminds me of fishing off Catalina Island in Cali.
Great video, love all your catch and clean videos. Tell Mama Bama she she is looking good 😁
Great content I love your offshore videos especially when you drop big live baits!
I love your videos! Keep it up king
Dude Im going back to so just this! Nice vid.

really fun to watch your videos! great content and love that you went to a local spot to have them cook it up! that is truly the way to go! I highly recommend trying fishing on lake Erie up here in our neck of the woods and stay on Put-In-Bay island, restaurant by the airport will cook up your Walleye delicious!
lovely boat
Great job man love your videos
You have awesome videos brother, local business owner in Gulf Shores. We have Gulf Coast Phone Repair, you have definitely been teaching me the right ways to fish, my buddy has a 27 ft seafox commander twin 200's hope to see ya out there!
Nice trip 🎣
You should put the small snapper in the live well until you get away from those porpoise so they don’t eat every one of them. They will eat all of them. Just don’t forget that there in the live well. Great job!!
I agree they have one of the best shrimp poboys on the coast!!!
Solid trip!
Great Vid! Docs is the BEST!!
Look forward to your videos
I really enjoy your videos keep up the good work buddy
My only comment would be to cut the inside up into multiple pieces of chum…. I love watching !!

Love the content brother. I'm out here in Arizona and makes me wanna get away to the coast to do some fishing!
Nice video! Would have liked to see you catch the big fish! Enjoy!
Used to do the tag in cleaning walleye. Crappie and other panfish, I just pan fry.
I like how you thank the Lord at the end of all your videos
Love the videos 💯
One of my favorite places to go in orange beach... Roll Tide!
Man I need to get with you when snapper season opens. Trailering my 21ft from niceville.
I’ll be out in Dauphin Island next week. We are staying at the fish camp on the island. I’m so ready to go fishing.
DOC’S! 👏 Love that place
would love to see you drop those big baits down more often!
Now that look like a tasty treat. I’m hungry
love your boat
Great video. That knife is super sharp
great vid and nice fish - liked the dolphin at 1.47.
Haha every time I see your brother I can see the "I don't wanna be on camera" in his face haha. Especially when he broke 2 rods 🤣
I just watched that video and wished the comments weren’t disabled but I can only imagine some of the stuff said he was so upset.
