Everyone saying how much better ColorOs is clearly doesnt understand that ColorOs surpresses every single app running in background, you get all notifications late or not at all, has no android auto, has no Google Assistant, not all AI features work, i mean why would you pay premium money for a phone thats missing all this just because its good on battery life?!? Plenty of phones will do that for less lol
Keep in mind the software its running was a leaked test build, its not even officially out yet. When i was using a oneplus 12 i would get a minimum 8hrs sot. PS: it seems your view is based on use of Chinese ROM. This won't be the case for the majority, unless they choose to stay on CN ColorOS. Oxygen OS will be more polished by launch day. You also can't fault Color OS as its global version is very polished on global Oppo devices. If you can't get around delayed notifications as some users already have for years, then maybe its just not for you. Its just like the device coming with different default settings
@SystemHacks still very much appreciated brother, just stating for hypahypa69 that we can expect a lot of missing features and luck of optimisation as it's not the final build
I use my phone to take pictures, makes calls and send messages. That's it. Nothing else. I genuinely don't give a flying shit about all that extra schlop features and would still go for the phone with battery life
Two day battery life easy with OnePlus 13 on ColorOs .305 version. Around 9h SOT. Color OS has been rock solid for me. Not tempted to switch to Oxygen just yet
It would have been fair if you had filmed this video with ColorOS. The OxygenOS you have is not fully developed yet, which is why the battery experience is not the best. Please refilm this video when the official version of OxygenOS is released.
@@sampatneupane2666I am lacking the ability to pair it with my Samsung Watch and Android Auto. I also miss having Google Discover on my home screen... So I will change to OOS when it's official.
i am scare about the battery drain so bad, i hope it just pre-released version oxygen os problem, i hope oneplus will fix it in the stable version, this is a good phone
13:13 I get what you’re saying but honestly, comparing samsung One UI to the copy-paste UI of the chinese brands isn’t fair at all. One UI 7 is the best samsung has ever done, it’s on a whole new level. Sure, it takes some inspiration from iOS, but the way samsung implements those features is more practical. Plus, let’s not forget iOS has borrowed a lot from Android over the years. At the end of the day, it’s not about borrowing ideas, it’s about how you make them your own. And samsung yet has to keep their own style. They’ve never lost their unique identity. And that's why I like both One UI and iOS
I'm wishing for more creativity from all the brands because I know they can. Yes it's easy to implement something already created and used from other brands but someone needs to push the boundaries 😞
Very good Review, thanks man! :D One part i might say: The battery of the phone usually takes 1 week to adjust to your usage pattern and at first has to download many updates and security patches etc in the background. Maybe check that again after one week ^^
Dev release software may have been the reason for subpar battery life. I just hope that is not the case with the stable release, since oneplus 12 global version has very good battery life and optimization with 5400Mah
The official release is early January so I would wait for that and by your local region global version rather than a Chinese ROM or Asia Global version. It may cost more, it will cost more, but you get the best version for your country. I would never recommend buying an import, switching ROMs and hoping everything is perfect, as it may never be.
It's all preference, of course. I have the OnePlus Nord n20 5g planning on upgrading to op13, and I like the op13 appearance much more. That thing on the side that connects the cam setup to the phone on the op12 looks a bit weird to me I'm not sure why so many people glaze it
No phone has great battery life if you use the camera. What the battery tests on UA-cam and see how much camera usage kills the battery. So those not using the cameras will get significantly better SOT--the same applies for gaming.
I will wait for sure but that's what I do always inform people and I really use this device people ask is it ok to switch from ColorOS to OxygenOS now and here's the result 👍
I think OP12 battery life looked good on release and beat the latest iPhone in some battery tests but during the next 6 months, it got worse and iPhone started beating it easily despite having a smaller battery. That was a mix of Apple improving battery with updates, and OnePlus updates hurting battery.

so basically it is not worth it to swap from color os to oxygen os till the official one is not released yet
That's the conclusion

That's why I explained that I don't want to lie to anyone. I can't use it with ColorOS I just don't like it.
Another Bulgarian bloger jump on my UA-cam?@@SystemHacks
I'm using coloros on OP13 for 2 weeks and yeah its 100% the OxygenOS version you're using. i get 9-10 hours of SOT in a 16 hours day..
Yes I know I'm using it for 2 weeks, first with ColorOS and second with OxygenOS
Can you use the OP 13 bought in China without any issues abroad?

My experience with the OnePlus 12 was very positive in terms of battery. Fingers crossed 🤞 for the stable release
Nice review man! That's a real review IMHO 👌
Hello he is also from bg? Looks like near it og buildings
Good job bro 👍🏻
Does it support QI2 or magsafe magnetic wireless charging without case?
No 😔
@SystemHacks Hopefully, the next Oneplus..
Just 4 hours, not that impress
could you make a comparision with the same condition but with the color os?
ColorOS is doing better and it's completely normal

Nice video 🤩❤
Thanks 😊
Man! It's not a stable version, Just wait for the global version.. Hope the battery life settle..
When the official oxygen OS is coming? And would it work correctly on a Chinese version phone
It will work correctly and probably coming in January when is the global launch
Final oxygenos 15 will be MUCH better. Just look at oxygenos14 optimization, is amazing.
Fingers crossed 🤞
Is anything chinese color os have but oxygen os not?
And how about smoothness and stability of oxygen os compare to coloros
To me Oxygen OS is even smoother
The problem in OxygenOS bec i have ColorOS is very good
I wait Official OxygenOS
We wait new video with offical OxygenOS
I way prefer the design of the 13 than the 12 👍
Nah.
@toma.6942 13 and 11 way more beautiful than crappy 12 😉
@maxoo._ sure bud. Lol

@@andyH_England im getting 9 hours constantly of screen on time

Should probably wait until official OxygenOS is released globally for the 13

Oneplus 13 rocks ...
Which is this country? Mountain looks nice
Bulgaria
Nice update. I use the OnePlus 8 pro for 4years now. I think it's still their best phone yet
I was using that too but my personal favorite is OnePlus 7
The OnePlus 12 is better than the 8 Pro
I have oxygen os for one day and I've got 6h29min screen on time with 21% battery left
Everyone is using their devices differently. The camera is draining the most
Looks and feels like a downgrade from the 12
No, for sure the device is an upgrade, fingers crossed for stable release

i have a chinese version too, and the battery it's crazy i follow your guide to change OS only google wallet dont Work
Google wallet works. Just lock bootloader again
@@Tech-Oclockif you lock the bootloader while being rooted you will brick it.
Will S24U survive that day? Maybe not?
It'll be on par but 1+ 13 with stable software will beat it for sure

Thank you mate, this is Bulgaria 👍

U use 5g so mush take battery

Did you watch the video? I said that at the beginning. When I need to show the screen of 1+ 13 how am I supposed to do it? Or to buy a second 1+ 13
yeah the battery life is just a joke
Fingers crossed 🤞 for stable release
Oneplus 12 desin was good than op13
Green problem im also sufferer
What is that problem? Do you speak for OnePlus 13?
This is not the oneplus 13, but 12. Buy buy.
OK
The wrong person to get it too

This test cannot be properly evaluated because it was connected to the car and therefore also charged
Did you even watch the video? It was connected for 30sec
@ ok sorry in this 30 seconds I missed it
That makes it more realistic since people charge their phone in their car.
@@jevonsims900 But that's irrelevant for a consumption test because what's important is how long it lasts without an intermediate charge
Ya but anytime it recharges, even for a second, the screen on time will reset.
