@@Starfishscalemodeling I haven't built a single 5th Gen aircraft yet, but I have ordered Yf-23 and Academy F-22 and have been collecting high rest F-22 images for donkey years, I suppose it's about time I try my hand at it.
Fantastic build! I’m gonna use this video to help new paint my own Revell raptor that I stopped making because I couldn’t decide on how to get the colours and finish right. Can’t wait to see Sarl you make next!
looks much better without "weedy" looking landing gear . nice kit , I have built Italeri and HobbyBoss ,both have problems , great paint job Starfish , captures the satin/metallic look of the Raptor ..
I display all my plane in flight and I glue tubes inside the engine exhaust and insert acrylic rod into the tubes that way you don’t have to drill a hole into the model
The F-22 is one of those aircraft that still are a little bit too modern for me, but no doubt I will get round to liking it a bit more in due time, as the airframes gets older.. That said, it is an interesting aircraft, as modern technology goes and a beautifully made model like this is very attractive, even to me. So yes, very nicely made and a great finished result.. :)
This Raptor took me 3 months total but I can't tell you how many hours. Often I don't find the time for modelling for a week or two due to life's duties 😑
This is really good, I have not seen anyone coming closed to F-22 paint till now. This is among the closes I have come crossed.
Thank you so much! It was a lot of trial and error.

@@tomthounaojam1987 Go for it! I was also thinking about getting the YF-23 in 1/72 scale 🤔

Thank you Brian. The paint job is indeed tricky but if I can do it, you can do it too!
Wow, that looks really good! I think you’ve motivated me to finally finish this very kit.
Go for it! Thanks for the feedback!
Amazing! Amazing! The F-22 is the best fighter currently and I have the same passion for it 😊
Thank you Cristian! Can't wait to see a Raptor from you 😊
@@Starfishscalemodeling guess what? I got a Raptor for my birthday. An Italeri kit in 1:48! :)
@@hobbywith.cristian I think we already talked about it - I'm really looking forward to it :)
@@Starfishscalemodeling thanks, sorry I forgot that I told you about it, I think I'm getting old 😄

Mega! Jets im Flug darstellen ist viel dynamischer als wie am Boden!
Genau meine Meinung 😁
Awesome! Your modeling skill is getting better and better!!!
I hope so 😊 Thank you!
Nice model, the colors are very close matching! 👍😉

Yes, that's also an option! Do you also bend acrylic rods? If yes, how do you do that?
@@Starfishscalemodeling yes I do bend them by heating them up with a hot air paint stripper

Thanks as always Rob! It still looks very futuristic, even though it's also a few decades old now 😊

Kurze Frage, was hatte der Acrylstab für ein Durchmesser und Länge?
Kann ich leider nicht mehr genau sagen da ich das Modell ja nicht mehr habe. Ich schätze Mal 15cm Länge und 6mm Durchmesser!
Okay, trotzdem danke
Yo need this on you own collection too ;)
Yeah I'm a bit sad that it's gone but it's in good hands :)
Can you please build p51, I would really appreciate it
That's one of the few aircraft I don't have a kit of 😅
