Hi guys! I just wanted you to know that you are literally my favorite bee channel. I'm about to start my beekeeping journey, so I'm watching tons of videos. And I have to tell you, yours are my favorites. I keep going back to them because they're clear, concise and full of info. I noticed you haven't posted in a few years and hope your move went well. I'll keep checking on the channel to see if you upload more. Peace!

Hey, once your renovations to your house are done, I hope you keep posting. I found you by searching on inner covers because that is not a topic people talk about, I live in Tampa FL. I put the inner cover upside down on my top feeder for 1:1 sugar syrup. Came back to refill and about 1000 bees drowned as they got into the top of the syrup....I will never make that mistake again. Then, I learned a lot more, it is hot here, and water source is a mile away....

with those constant temps I can see why you need to give water. In this zone of a boreal forest there is lots of water for them. we also don't get that temperature for more than a few days each summer so I feel fortunate to live where we are right now. winters, well, not so much

Every bit of land has its pros and cons. You work with what you have. I’m sure winters are a much bigger concern for you than for us with the snow you get.

You may have evaporative cooling with the water on top keep the hive cooler...At the mall of America they spray water way up high and it evaporates before getting down and cooling everything down...

With the heat like it is right now, it should help the bees. I don’t know how they stand this weather!

We are still alive. We’ve moved and have been very busy with work and renovating our new house.
